Brand Part Number
Chicago Rawhide/SKF 22532 or CR22532
Dexter --
Lippert --
National/Timken 412920 or 472920
TruRyde GS-2250DL

How to Measure for a Replacement Seal

Measuring a spindle

Use a digital caliper and measure to the nearest thousandth of an inch.

  • Seal I.D.: Measure the diameter of the spindle at the grease seal seat (B), where the seal rides.
  • Seal O.D.: Remove the old seal and measure the inside diameter of the hub bore where the seal presses into the hub.

Measure each location in a few spots to check for wear or an out-of-round surface. Match both measurements to the replacement seal.

  • Replacement Seals For A 7000lb 2004 AL-CO Axle
Hey, Terry. Thanks for reaching out. AL-KO wasn’t always consistent with their axle components, so the best way to find the correct seal is by measuring. Hi Marc, thanks for writing in! Based on the dimensions you provided, the Dexter Grease Seal # DX72UR is the correct replacement.
