Reasonable price, super speedy shipping and perfect fit. My only suggestion would be to show a ruler/ measurement on the product photo, confirming the diameter of the ends. The female end actually measures 3/4" inside diameter, which threw me off a bit when replacing my old hose. Had to run to Lowes with the hose to confirm my old hose was actually 1/2" female fitting.

Comments
The hose was an inch longer than the old ones. Was a bit of a trick to position the propane tanks so they attached cleanly and the bends in the hoses didnt rub on the cover while traveling. Otherwise, they have stayed in good shape and working as expected.

I used this on my food trailer. Unfortunately it wasn’t big enough to handle everything. This was caused by a lack of research on my behalf

I love the web site. I could see a 360 view of the part and easily get all of its specifications. I was sure the ends were the right ones to fit my trailer. There was even a short video about the part. The price was very competitive and once I ordered the part, it was shipped right away. I chose the economy shipping and of course, the Post Office misdirected the package and it took 2 days longer than expected to arrive, but if I needed it faster, I could have chosen an express delivery for some additional cost. I needed a replacement hose because rodents ate through my old hose. I wonder if this part is less palatable to rodents?

Comments
you might consider some of our wire loom # 39035. This is a 10 foot section of it, and it is 38 diameter so it should work for your propane hose, just cut to fit. Maybe if there is one more layer on there it may make it less appealing to the silly critters.

Product was as advertised. The only concern was the long delivery time, two weeks. That wasn't so horrible in and of itself, just that I buy a lot of items on line and most cases the delivery time is much shorter. An interesting aside and no reflection on e trailer it turns out my ancient travel trailer (1969) had a different saw gas pipe where gas service enters he trailer, but the counter lady here in Tucson had the right adapter for 5 bucks. Which works out fine. I believe she said the trailer side is 1/2 inch pipe thread and the hose is 1/2 inch propane thread, but she had the adaptor so I'm a happy camper. Sorry for The t.m.i. Maybe next customer with ancient vintage trailer may benefit from my tale.

etrailer is great. They have great product descriptions and review videos so that I know exactly what I am buying and how it will fit my needs I recently received a propane hose from etrailer that had been mis-packaged and therefore was the wrong length. They quickly sent out a replacement hose and now I have what I need. Thanks a lot to Bryan and the crew at etrailer.

I recently bought a propane hose 3/8 male to 3/8 female from etrailer. It will be used to go from a 100 lb. propane tank to a copper house feed. It fit perfect but what impressed me was how well it was made and best of all it was made in America. Definitely built to last. Helpful people to work with.

Ask the Experts about this MB Sturgis Propane

  • Replacement Propane Supply Hose From Regulator to RV Propane Supply Line
It sounds like you're looking for a 3 foot long supply hose; typically the outlet end of a regulator will almost certainly be a 3/8" female NPT and from the picture you sent it looks like you've got a female flare connector on the other end that goes to the metal RV piping. Additionally, since you've said that the piping side is larger it sounds like you're looking for the # 37207-31445 which has a 1/2" Female flare connector on one end and a 3/8" male NPT on the other.

You will need a regulator to supply your RV with propane as all RV propane accessories are designed for low pressure propane. The first thing you'll need is a pigtail to plug into the DOT cylinder you want to use. For that you'd want the part # 100473-12. Next you'd want a regulator like part # 108220 and then a hose to connect to your trailer. Most likely you'd need the part # 100040-144-MBS which uses 3/8 inch MPT fittings but you might check out the FAQ article I attached to determine...

It features a 3/8 inch Male NPT at one end that will connect to the regulator and then a 1/2 inch Female Flare Swivel that will connect to your RV. • Is Propane Pressure Before Regulator High Pressure Propane
The lines and ports that would mount before your propane regulator would be unregulated propane and not high pressure as high pressure propane is regulated just to a higher pressure. Low-pressure propane burners regulate gas intake to about 6 ounces per square inch, whereas high-pressure burners regulate gas intake to between 1 and 60 pounds per square inch. Pressure in a propane tank regardless of size can range between 100 and 200 psi typically.

Most RV propane systems use a low pressure regulator because the appliances are low pressure. You can check the information stamped into your regulator to determine if it is high or low pressure or offers both. High pressure regulators are usually 30 psi, such as # 108072. Hoses for high pressure systems are built to handle the higher pressure. Many hoses do not specify if they are high or low pressure and can generally be used for either system.
