Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the JR Products propane hose. This is going to allow you to run your propane from your LP gas cylinder up to your regulator on your RV or travel trailer. Keep in mind there are a few things that you want to look for when you're deciding on a propane hose to make sure that it's going to work with your setup. The first thing is going to be your length, so you want to be sure that it's going to be able to run from point A to point B, wherever that may be for you. This is a two foot long hose, so it's going to connect, obviously if your tank or whatever connection points that you have to your regulator are less than two feet.
This should work for you. This is a rubber hose, so that's going to help resist any kinks or cracking. It's got an internal diameter of a quarter of an inch, which is pretty standard for most of these hoses, so it should be enough to get that propane run through to power up your propane powered appliances. The next thing that you want to look for are your fittings, so obviously we have two different fittings on this hose. We're going to have a 3/8 inch male NPT fitting. This is what's going to connect to your regulator on your RV or travel trailer, and we're also going to have a 3/8 inch female swivel SAE fitting. That swivel sitting is going to make it much easier to get this connected.
We're not going to have to turn the whole hose to get it connected. That fitting will turn without the hose moving, so that's going to be pretty easy to get that mounted. This hose is UL as well as CSA approved, so it's going to hold up to those quality standards, you can trust that it's going to do the job well and hold up well.Keep in mind if this is not the hose that you need, maybe you need a longer hose or different fittings. I would encourage you to come check out our other options here at etrailer.com. Our goal is always to help you find the product that you need to solve your problem so you can get back to enjoying your time outdoors. That's going to complete our look at the JR Products propane hose.
