Question:

One of the hoses on my RV is leaking. I’m sending a photo of the tag on the hose and a photo of both hoses. The hoses have slightly different connections. Please let me know what will work. Also, are the braided ones sturdier and will last longer?

Searching by part number it appears the MB Sturgis Propane Hose Assembly # 100383-48-MBS would be the replacemement part you need for at least the 18CE Cavagna Group replacement.

The picture received on our end was a duplicate and you mention there's a different connector for it so if there is a different label for the second connector I would be happy to check that one as well.

Regarding braided vs. rubber line durability, the braided stainless steel can protects the thermoplastic hose from damage which can be a real asset but most of our customers have a great experience with either type really.

I have that exact tag Cavagna 18 CE on the hose I need replaced but the MB Sturgis # 100383-48 MBS is not the correct hose. The hose I need is 24 inches long and goes from the propane tank to the regulator. It has the dark green tank connector and the 1/4 inch I think male connector with inverted center like the pigtail shown above but 24 or 30 inch in length

Thanks for the additional info! It sounds like the correct replacement is the MB Sturgis # 100833-24.

@ChrisR So same fact pattern as the original question, however the propane pigtail ti a type 1` connector with a 3/8' NPT - 10 to 12" long.

@JeffJ That's a really interesting setup because normally the pigtail goes from a type 1 to a 1/4" type connection to the regulator. Would you mind sending in some pictures and showing where your connections need to be made?
