Parts Needed to Connect DOT Propane Tank to RV

Question:

I have a 1976 Prowler 20foot camp trailer. It has old propane line 3foot long rubber hose connection to pipe that runs under trailer and no regulator. I want to hook up a small white tank from the exchange at my local grocery. What hoses should I get? Do I need a regulator ?, and two hoses one hose to regulator from hard pipe and one hose from regulator to tank? If so what parts do you have to help? Im in Atlantic city and we get snow. Thanks!

You will need a regulator to supply your RV with propane as all RV propane accessories are designed for low pressure propane. The first thing you'll need is a pigtail to plug into the DOT cylinder you want to use. For that you'd want the part # 100473-12. Next you'd want a regulator like part # 108220 and then a hose to connect to your trailer. Most likely you'd need the part # 100040-144-MBS which uses 3/8 inch MPT fittings but you might check out the FAQ article I attached to determine what you have on your trailer.
