Perfect fit on my 2009 blue bird

by:

I think you guys should send me some ap parel!

by:

Exactly what we wanted. Worked perfect on our recent, extended trip to Alaska and back.

by:

I welded this up on my 2004 GMC converted school bus, it worked great with minimal bumper notching

by:

Works great!

by:

Heavy duty, wished it would put itself on my motorhome.

It’s beefy and solid. The mounting bracket square holes had to be cut in a smidge and he added two more support bars.. but all in all. My welder said it would tow 11-12 k. Not the 16k I was told. But hey. I’m okay with that. There was a shipping issue which forced me to reschedule a few things, that is the only reason I gave 4 stars. Otherwise I am supper happy with how it turned out.

by:

It is very well built and the powder coating is very tough, took a good grinding to get it off for the welds. Good price as well. I used it for my 2006 Bounder 35E, not because it was a high rate hitch, as I did not need one, but this was the only one that would lower the hitch to a more normal height from the ground. The old hitch was so high a 10" deep was not enough to use a trailer parallel to the ground. Now I can hook up a lot easier and not worry about scraping. Looks good too.

by:

Great quality product from Curt . Can be easy installation depending on the application.. mine more difficult because of aluminum alloy frame, so will have to do some reinforcing.

by:

I put this on my 03 Freightliner Columbia. It does everything I want it to. It is bolted and welded.
I like it so much that a bought another one and put it on my old school bus. That one is just bolted on.

by:

attached this hitch to my 1984 American General 5 ton military truck. Had to do some modification to air lines and drill a few holes but it is perfect for pulling civilian trailers with the M 813.

by:

Added (welded) to our diesel pusher Motorhome and have no issues and really no worries while towing whatever we feel we need while camping.

by:

Fast shipping

by:

Very happy with this hitch. The size of the end plates matched the frame on our old truck and with the class V weight rating, our old truck can do a few other things around the farm now. Thank you.

by:

Well, I really respect the fact that they waited for one year before asking for a review, they offer a 2 inch and a 2 1/2 inch receiver the 2 1/2 inch receiver would obviously be a larger rectangle to accommodate a half an inch, the vertical uprights I received had holes pre-cut to accommodate a 2 1/2 inch receiver I ordered a 2 inch receiver, needless to say, there was an abundance of slop, half inch gaps, requiring a lot of fabrication on either side of the vertical uprights, knowing this now, going with the 2 1/2 receiver should have saved a ton of unnecessary fabrication time.

by:

Solid as stone!!

Great product. Fast delivery

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch For A Foreign Model 2020 Ford Ranger FX4
Hi Drew, The Curt # C97JR you were looking at is designed to fit select model Jeep Grand Cherokee L's and would not be a fit for your 2020 Ford Ranger. All of the custom-fit hitches we currently offer are designed for US models so you'd have to go with an adjustable-fit weld-on trailer hitch instead. These will come with a drop so you'll want to measure from the frame down to make sure the receiver tube will clear the bumper. Draw-Tite 7" Drop # 41990-07 16" Drop # 41990-16 Curt 3"...

  • 2006 E-450 Super Duty Shuttle Bus Trailer Hitch Receiver
For your 2006 Ford F-450 Shuttle Bus you are going to need to use a universal hitch. For this you will need to measure how wide your frame rails are apart on the rear of your bus. Then you will need to know how much drop from the frame rails to the bottom of the bumper is required for the hitch to fit. The Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch # C47CR will fit frames that are 18"-44" wide and brackets have a 9" drop. The Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch # C99CR will also fit frame...

  • Best Way To Use A Hitch Bike Rack On A Trailer
I suggest getting a 2 inch hitch receiver for your trailer. A universal one like this # C47CR will work well. You just need to weld it into place. I don't recommend putting the Swagman Original # S64400 in anything other than a hitch receiver. Luckily the Swagman Original is rated to be put on any vehicle you may have with a class III hitch or higher so you're good to use it on the back of your 14 foot trailer!

  • Will The Draw-Tite Trailer Frame Hitch Receiver Fit A 1974 Chevy K5 Blazer With A Gas Tank Shield
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver 75129 should fit with any OEM parts but just to be used I went out to the warehouse and measured the hitch. From the back of the crossmember tube to the center of the first bolt hole is 1". The distance between the inside of both mounting ears is 30-1/4". This hitch should sit directly under your frame rails so you can use that 1" measurement to see if the tube will run into interference with your gas tank shield. If this doesn't work then...

  • Trailer Hitch Option For Shuttle 2011 Chevy Express Shuttle Bus
For a shuttle bus like your 2011 Chevy Express, you'll need a universal hitch that will be welded onto your frame. You will want to measure your frame though, as it will need to be no longer than 44 inches from outside to outside. So long as you have that, you can use one of the following, depending on how tall you need the brackets to be: - 3" Drop: Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch # 15901 - 9" Drop: Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch # C47CR

  • Trailer Hitch Receiver and Wiring Harness Recommendation For a 1969 GMC P15 Van
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13900 looks to be the closest bolt on receiver that I can find to fit your 1969 GMC P15 van. It has a 6-7/8" drop from the frame to top of the receiver so that may require you to notch into your bumper slightly. I recommend the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets # C47CR. With this you will be able to place the receiver tube exactly where you want on the rear bumper. This will allow you the best ground clearance without having to modify...

Yes! For an electric bike carrier that will accommodate fat bike tires and the torque on the rear of a motorhome and fifth-wheel trailer, I recommend the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # HLY64FR. The RV Rider has an 80-pound per bike weight capacity and can hold fat tires up to 5 inches wide.
