Question:

I have a 2020 Ford Ranger FX4, not a US model. Model is ATL932D0001. Im wondering if your trailer hitch will be compatible with my truck. It doesnt come with the mounting hardware, as mentioned in your product installation. So if it is compatible Id need the hardware. Thanks and happy to clarify if you have questions.

Hi Drew,

The Curt # C97JR you were looking at is designed to fit select model Jeep Grand Cherokee L's and would not be a fit for your 2020 Ford Ranger. All of the custom-fit hitches we currently offer are designed for US models so you'd have to go with an adjustable-fit weld-on trailer hitch instead. These will come with a drop so you'll want to measure from the frame down to make sure the receiver tube will clear the bumper.

Greetings Kevin, Thanks for the response, I have been travelling. I wasn't looking at any particular hitch at the time I submitted my question so I'm not sure why you had me on a Jeep hitch page. I was looking at the 2020 Ranger hitch though. Would it be possible to get the dimensions of that hitch so that I may check it against my truck? I'd be surprised if the chassis was that different than a US made Ranger (but you never know). It would be most helpful to have the length between the mounting holes from Driver to Passenger. I can check the bumper height easily by measuring the differences between the mounting location and the bumper bottom. Thanks,

@Drew The page the question was asked from came up as the # C97JR, which is why my answer was that way. I don't have one at my local warehouse to go measure so you'll want to reach out to Curt for the dimensions to see if you can luck out and make it fit. If not, then you'll need to go with one of the weld-on hitches listed above.
