Question:
i am looking for a class III hitch to fit a 1996 Pace Arrow motorhome, the distance between frame rails is 33-3/4 and the current mounting holes are 36 center to center. It will need to drop approximately 4 below the frame to clear the bumper. Thank you

There isn't a bolt-on option that will work so you'll have to use a weld-on hitch for your 1996 Pace Arrow motorhome. One that will fit the frame distance of your motorhome and has a 2" receiver (but is actually a Class V hitch), is from Curt, the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets # C47CR.
This is for frames from a minimum of 18" to a maximum of 44" which is exactly the range your frame falls in.
