Question:
We have a 1977 GMC 16foot motorhome with what I guess is a C chrome style bumper on the rear and 16inch Bud wheels.Would this work?

Expert Reply:
The # TR-2 fits 4" square and 4-1/4" square bumpers. This and other carriers like it will not fit your 1977 GMC Motorhome, but I do have some other options. The first is to mount the Buyers Products Truck Spare Tire Carrier for 19-1/2" Rims or Smaller # 3375201010 on the back. This can either be bolted on (drilling will be required) or welded on.
The other option is to use a hitch mounted spare tire carrier like the # e98ZR. Of course this will require you to have a trailer hitch receiver on your motorhome. If you don't already have one you and use the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch # C47CR.
