This class V universal weld-on trailer hitch receiver with brackets has a 18" drop and is designed for use on service body trucks and utility body trucks.

by:

Worked out perfect with my truck previously being a bucket truck and with type of service body that was built on cab and chassis.

by:

attached this hitch to my 1984 American General 5 ton military truck. Had to do some modification to air lines and drill a few holes but it is perfect for pulling civilian trailers with the M 813.

by:

It is very well built and the powder coating is very tough, took a good grinding to get it off for the welds. Good price as well. I used it for my 2006 Bounder 35E, not because it was a high rate hitch, as I did not need one, but this was the only one that would lower the hitch to a more normal height from the ground. The old hitch was so high a 10" deep was not enough to use a trailer parallel to the ground. Now I can hook up a lot easier and not worry about scraping. Looks good too.

Thanks for the quick delivery!!

by:

Well, I really respect the fact that they waited for one year before asking for a review, they offer a 2 inch and a 2 1/2 inch receiver the 2 1/2 inch receiver would obviously be a larger rectangle to accommodate a half an inch, the vertical uprights I received had holes pre-cut to accommodate a 2 1/2 inch receiver I ordered a 2 inch receiver, needless to say, there was an abundance of slop, half inch gaps, requiring a lot of fabrication on either side of the vertical uprights, knowing this now, going with the 2 1/2 receiver should have saved a ton of unnecessary fabrication time.

by:

Was able to position the hitch where I wanted on a chassis cab and it works great.

by:

works as it should still a year latter

by:

Great service. Quick shipment. You guys are awesome.

  • Looking For Class 3 Trailer Hitch For 2014 Mobility Ventures MV-1
Hello Benjamin, thanks for reaching out. It may be possible to add a trailer hitch to your 2014 Mobility Ventures MV-1, but there is no custom fit hitch for this vehicle. The only option for a hitch would be to take a universal hitch like part # C99CR to a welder and have them fabricate something for you. The # C99CR hitch comes with adjustable flanges that can fit frames between 18" and 44" wide. Please make sure the frame of your vehicle meets this criteria. The hitch itself has a 2"...

  • Avaialbility OF Trailer Hitch For 1996 Ford Econoline Diesel Bus
Hello Ariel, thanks for reaching out. We may have a hitch that will fit your 1996 Ford Econoline Cutaway bus, but there are no custom fit hitches made for this kind of vehicle. The Buyers Class 5 Hitch # 3371801102 you mentioned is a custom fit hitch for a 2014-2025 Chevy Express or GMC Savana, so I cannot guarantee fitment for your bus. What I can do is provide dimensions for hitch so you can compare them to your chassis, and I have included a dimensional diagram for you below. If this...

  • Best Trailer Hitch for a Bus with 39" Frame Rail Spacing
Thanks for reaching out, Andrew! The best solution for adding a hitch to your bus is the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets # C99CR since there aren't any custom options for your bus. Since this is a weld-on installation you'll need to have an experienced welder do the installation to make sure it is capable of safely towing your trailer.

  • Trailer Hitch Fitment for a 2005 Ford E-350 Passenger Van Bus
Great question, Adrian! For your 2005 Ford E-350 set up as a passenger van bus you will need to have a heavy duty universal hitch installed like the Curt # C99CR. This type of hitch installs by welding so you'll need to have a shop or certified welder help you plan out the installation. If you don't already have a shop you plan on working with we have an installer locator I'm linking to this page for you to reference and see who is in your area to help you with the isntallation.

  • Can A Blue Ox Baseplate And Curt Front-Mounted Trailer Hitch Both Be Installed On A 2022 Ram 1500
Hey Mike, Both the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU99FR and Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C87FR would be fighting for the same space on the frame rail where the tow hooks sit so they would not be compatible together. There isn't another custom-fit hitch but you could go with a weld-on adjustable-fit trailer hitch and work with a local fabricator shop to get it sitting right and welded to the frame rails. We offer a few different drop lengths that you can use as a rise or drop...

  • Trailer Hitch Option For 2004 Newmar Mountain Aire Diesel Pusher
Hey Chris, thanks for reaching out. I do have an option for you, but there are not going to be any custom fit bolt-on hitches for a 2004 Newmar Mountain Aire Diesel Pusher. Our best option will be to go with a universal weld-on hitch. For that I recommend the Curt Class 5 Hitch # C99CR. This comes with weld-on brackets and can be made to fit virtually any frame up to 44" wide. It has a 16,000 lb capacity so it will handle anything your motorhome could tow. • Front Mounted Trailer Hitch Receiver Options For A 2019 Nissan Titan Pro 4x
Hi Kevin, There unfortunately isn't a custom-fit front trailer hitch receiver for your 2019 Nissan Titan Pro 4x so you'd have to go with a universal-fit weld-on trailer hitch like I have listed below. These will all come with a specific drop so you'll want to measure from the frame down to see what size drop you'll need in order to clear the front fascia. These will fit an 18" to 44" wide frame width and any excess can just be trimmed off of the crosstube. Draw-Tite 7" Drop # 41990-07 16"...

Hey Steve, For a 2017 F-53 chassis we currently only have weld-on universal fit style trailer hitches available. Each of these would fit 18" to 44" wide trailer frames and would come with brackets that can give you a different drop depending on your needs. You'll want to measure down from the frame to determine where you want the receiver tube to come out to avoid hitting the fascia. We offer the following drop sizes: Draw-Tite 7" Drop # 41990-07 16" Drop # 41990-16 Curt 3" Drop # 15901 9"...

Hi Jay! While I do have a couple options you can use to add a front hitch to your 2025 Ford E-450 Cutaway with the Jayco 27U conversion, there are no custom fit hitches, unfortunately. With that said, check out the hitch I have below: Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets - 2" Receiver - 44" Wide # C99CR It looks like your frame is 34" wide so it should work, but I would double check that measurement just to make sure. It also has more than enough capacity for whatever you...

Due to that, I think you are better off going with something like the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets - 2" Receiver - 44" Wide # C99CR. It will take some work...

If you do not need one as wide you could select the 44” wide Curt # C37CR, or the 44” wide Curt # C99CR hitch with an 18” drop and 16,000 pound tow rating. • Can A Hitch Extender Be Used With A Front Mount Trailer Hitch To Park A Travel Trailer
Hi Don, Hitch extenders place a lot of stress on the hitch because you're leveraging the weight further out so using one typically drops the capacity by 50% when towing. You'd be doing it in a parking lot situation where you wouldn't really be traveling much just more so maneuvering around so realistically that shouldn't affect you but depending on how much weight you're leveraging there could be a breaking point, we just wouldn't be able to know exactly what that point is. The F-53 and F-550 frames are different and do not use the same mounting holes. There is not a custom fit receiver for the F-53 as the chassis can be modified by the RV manufacturer and would require different options for different RVs.
