This class V universal weld-on trailer hitch receiver with brackets has a 18" drop and is designed for use on service body trucks and utility body trucks.

by:

Worked out perfect with my truck previously being a bucket truck and with type of service body that was built on cab and chassis.

by:

attached this hitch to my 1984 American General 5 ton military truck. Had to do some modification to air lines and drill a few holes but it is perfect for pulling civilian trailers with the M 813.

by:

Just what I needed for an unusual frame width. Good quality and heavy duty.

by:

Well, I really respect the fact that they waited for one year before asking for a review, they offer a 2 inch and a 2 1/2 inch receiver the 2 1/2 inch receiver would obviously be a larger rectangle to accommodate a half an inch, the vertical uprights I received had holes pre-cut to accommodate a 2 1/2 inch receiver I ordered a 2 inch receiver, needless to say, there was an abundance of slop, half inch gaps, requiring a lot of fabrication on either side of the vertical uprights, knowing this now, going with the 2 1/2 receiver should have saved a ton of unnecessary fabrication time.

by:

It is very well built and the powder coating is very tough, took a good grinding to get it off for the welds. Good price as well. I used it for my 2006 Bounder 35E, not because it was a high rate hitch, as I did not need one, but this was the only one that would lower the hitch to a more normal height from the ground. The old hitch was so high a 10" deep was not enough to use a trailer parallel to the ground. Now I can hook up a lot easier and not worry about scraping. Looks good too.

by:

Thanks for the quick delivery!!

by:

Was able to position the hitch where I wanted on a chassis cab and it works great.

by:

works as it should still a year latter

  • Trailer Hitch Receiver Options For A 2024 Volvo S60 Plug-In Hybrid
Hey Paul, There most likely is something in the way that prevents the installation of a trailer hitch on the S models and manufacturers haven't found a workaround yet. That pretty much leaves you with only weld-on adjustable-fit trailer hitches, which would require a bit of DIY to fit. You'll need to measure down from the frame rails to the see how large of the drop you'll need for the receiver tube to stick out from the rear fascia. We offer the following drop sizes: Draw-Tite 7" Drop...

  • Looking For Class 3 Trailer Hitch For 2014 Mobility Ventures MV-1
Hello Benjamin, thanks for reaching out. It may be possible to add a trailer hitch to your 2014 Mobility Ventures MV-1, but there is no custom fit hitch for this vehicle. The only option for a hitch would be to take a universal hitch like part # C99CR to a welder and have them fabricate something for you. The # C99CR hitch comes with adjustable flanges that can fit frames between 18" and 44" wide. Please make sure the frame of your vehicle meets this criteria. The hitch itself has a 2"...

  • Recommended Class V Hitch for a Ford F-53 Chassis
Hey Robert. To add a class V hitch to a 2002 Ford F-53 chassis, I recommend the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets item # C99CR. There is not a custom fit receiver for the F-53 models because the chassis can be modified by the RV manufacturer and would require different options for different RVs. The Curt item # C99CR includes universal brackets that will need to be welded to the outside of your frame. It fits frames up to 44" wide so this will fit great. It has a 16,000...

  • Availability of Front Hitch for Leprechaun 270QB Built on 2023 Chevy Express 3500
Hey Wes! The reason you're having trouble is because nobody makes a custom front hitch for that chassis. You can use a universal weld-on hitch like the Curt # C99CR or have a local fabricator fashion a custom front hitch for your Leprechaun. The Curt hitch fits frames up to 44" wide and has 18" brackets which can be cut down to fit your application. What will you be using the hitch for?

  • Trailer Hitch Receiver Options For A 2025 Ford E-350 Cutaway Van
Hey Jim, I drew up a little diagram of the Blue Ox Trailer Hitch Receiver # BLU75UR's dimensions so you can see if this would be a fit. It's not listed as a fit for your E-series cutaway chassis but the F and E-series can some times be interchangeable. It is listed to fit the following models: 2017 - 2025 Ford F-250 Super Duty 2017 - 2025 Ford F-350 Super Duty 2017 - 2025 Ford F-450 Super Duty Pickup There isn't a custom-fit option confirmed to fit so if this doesn't your next option...

Hi Alex! We haven't had the chance to install the Buyers Products 2" Hitch Receiver For GM Express/Savana with Cutaway Chassis # 3371801102 on a 2017 Chevy Express 3500 cutaway with a Spartan body on it yet, but we do have a note saying this may not fit on models equipped with the Spartan or DuraCube cargo vans. Due to that, I think you are better off going with something like the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets - 2" Receiver - 44" Wide # C99CR. It will take some work...

Hi Kevin, There unfortunately isn't a custom-fit front trailer hitch receiver for your 2019 Nissan Titan Pro 4x so you'd have to go with a universal-fit weld-on trailer hitch like I have listed below. These will all come with a specific drop so you'll want to measure from the frame down to see what size drop you'll need in order to clear the front fascia. These will fit an 18" to 44" wide frame width and any excess can just be trimmed off of the crosstube. Draw-Tite 7" Drop # 41990-07 16"...

Great question, Adrian! For your 2005 Ford E-350 set up as a passenger van bus you will need to have a heavy duty universal hitch installed like the Curt # C99CR. This type of hitch installs by welding so you'll need to have a shop or certified welder help you plan out the installation. If you don't already have a shop you plan on working with we have an installer locator I'm linking to this page for you to reference and see who is in your area to help you with the isntallation.

The Buyers Class 5 Hitch # 3371801102 you mentioned is a custom fit hitch for a 2014-2025 Chevy Express or GMC Savana, so I cannot guarantee fitment for your bus. • Can A Hitch Extender Be Used With A Front Mount Trailer Hitch To Park A Travel Trailer
Hi Don, Hitch extenders place a lot of stress on the hitch because you're leveraging the weight further out so using one typically drops the capacity by 50% when towing. You'd be doing it in a parking lot situation where you wouldn't really be traveling much just more so maneuvering around so realistically that shouldn't affect you but depending on how much weight you're leveraging there could be a breaking point, we just wouldn't be able to know exactly what that point is. The Curt...

These both have a 5,000lb capacity so you should definitely make sure your trailer is under that. If it isn't then you should go with an adjustable-fit weld-on hitch instead to ensure you have the capacity to handle the trailer. You can measure the frame width and measure down to where you have space for the...
