Upgrading Hitch on 2023 Thor Vegas 24.3

Question:
I would like to upgrade the class III hitch with a 500 lbs. tongue weight on a 2023 Thor Motor Couch Vegas 24.3. Do you have anything that would work? Thank you in advance.

Hi Geronimo; the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41990-16 you were looking at is the solution for upgrading your Class III hitch. This still has a 2" receiver but with a much higher capacity of 1,600/16,000 lbs tongue weight/trailer weight. Keep in mind, you will still be limited by the capacity of your motorhome. This hitch is a weld-on application, and has 16" brackets which can be modified/cut down to size to fit appropriately on your Vegas.
Is there a specific reason you need to upgrade the hitch?
