Hi Eric! The Curt Trailer Hitch # C15801 is designed for the roughly 42" wide frame found on the 2016–2028 Ram 2500 and 3500 with the 6-1/2' bed. That is approximately 42" from outside flange to outside flange, or around 41" on center. As long as you have the standard pickup and not a cab and chassis model, this will fit.

So, when you say 41" to center, are you meaning that the mounting holes are 41" center to center?

@EricB I don't have the exact center-to-center measurement of the mounting holes. If you need it, I can reach out to Curt and get that measurement for you. Since these are custom-fit hitches, they don't list all of the individual dimensions. I know the frame is roughly 42" outside to outside, and the frame measurement is the same across the 2016–2028 pickup models. Unless you're trying to install this on something other than one of those Ram trucks, the exact mounting-hole measurement shouldn't be necessary.

@RobinH We need to make a hitch fit a G Series Chevy ambulance chassis. I understand this is not made for chassis cabs, but this one appears to be our most viable option. We may just have to custom it a little more.

@Eric then something like the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch # C99CR (2" receiver) or # C87CR (2-1/2" receiver) would probably be the better option. It fits frames up to 44" wide and you can move the brackets wherever you need them. Plus you can cut the brackets down so it sits at the right height.
