Availability of Front Hitch for Leprechaun 270QB Built on 2023 Chevy Express 3500

Question:

Having all sorts of issues trying to find a front hitch for a 2023 Chevy, 3500 express, 270QB Leprechaun Class C RV. any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hey Wes! The reason you're having trouble is because nobody makes a custom front hitch for that chassis. You can use a universal weld-on hitch like the Curt # C99CR or have a local fabricator fashion a custom front hitch for your Leprechaun. The Curt hitch fits frames up to 44" wide and has 18" brackets which can be cut down to fit your application.

Ok good deal, kind of what I thought but wanted to be sure. Need the extra storage capacity for a rack or something.

@WesH yeah unfortunately, that is the only option for most motorhomes despite so many people wanting a hitch for extra storage or bikes. I'd reach out to a fabricator first and see what they think. They could also just modify the Curt hitch to fit, or use the # E-9 to build the hitch.

Wes , the universal hitch kit is very easy to fabricate to any truck . I installed this on a 2004 dodge ram 3500 with ease , Also like this because it mounts to side frame and not under
