This hitch is built for serious hauling. With a maximum gross trailer weight of 15,000 lbs and a 1,500 lb tongue weight, it gives you the confidence to tow heavy loads without overworking your setup. When used with weight distribution, those ratings climb to 16,000 lbs GTW and 1,600 lbs TW. You don’t need a lift or fancy tools to get this hitch mounted. It bolts directly onto the frame with a complete hardware kit—no welding required. The precision, robotic welding ensures that everything lines up just right for a clean fit. Once installed, the visible round-tube design sits neatly under the bumper with a flush look that doesn’t stick out or distract from the back of your vehicle.
This hitch is made from fully welded steel and coated with a gloss black powder finish layered over a protective base coat. The 2" receiver opening works with all kinds of heavy-duty towing gear—ball mounts, tow bars, cargo carriers, or big bike racks built for e-bikes. You can easily swap between accessories without adapters or extra parts. Ball mount, pin, and clip are sold separately so you can choose exactly the setup that fits your towing needs.

This product arrived in great shape and on time. I had it installed in about 40 minutes with minimal help from my wife to just hold one side up while I started the two frame bolts. Great receiver hitch with a great flat color finish! I highly recommend this curt receiver hitch! It also fits great with no drilling required. I was pleasantly suprised when the reciever was delivered 3 days after ordering. The box was undamaged in contrast to many other reviewers. I was happy that the kit came with 2 fishing wires so that my partner and i were able to work on each side simultaneously. Everything fit perfectly and took about 20 minutes. It actually took longer to retrieve the tools from the truck to drop and lowere the spare tire. Will definatley order more products from Curt and from etrailer.com

Did it myself with help from my S.O. (Denise). As with any "diy" project, the install did not go smoothly but the product was not at fault! My RAM 1500 is 5yrs old & fortunately I've never needed the spare (so the 1st step: removing the spare became a THANG! The cable lock was completely frozen and required a good WD40 soak to free-up. Glad I was in my garage to do this and not stuck on the side of I35!!) As for the hitch it was delivered in 4-days. So far so good!

Received new hitch in short time in good condition. Had local mechanic remove OEM Class III hitch and installed new hitch in less than 2 hours. Pulled trailer successfully and it worked beautifully. Thanks etrailer!
The hitch is great quality, and easy to install. However, it’s worth noting that on the Ram 1500 Rebel (and maybe other Trim packages as well) the bumper mounts to a bracket welded to the OEM hitch. You will have to salvage those brackets or make new brackets in order to mount the bumper back
All went good for the install the holes were a little off but was able to use a crow bar to pull it out to install. Oh box was a mess. Half was inbox and half was outside the box but great care was taking when it was delivered. Not to much scratches
Thank you etrailer for the prompt service and a great price. I ordered the Curt trailer hitch #C15572 for my 2018 Ram 1500 at 9:20 pm Friday night and got a email saying it had shipped at 10:15 pm that same night. Received it on the day (the following Wednesday) they said it would arrive but way earlier in the day. I read a lot of reviews before I ordered and some shipments may have been handled ruff and some people said the hitch was bent and hard to install. My shipment came and the cardboard box had a few small rips but upon inspection the hitch seemed fine. It is pretty heavy and the box seems a little weak for such a item but all hardware is well taped to the hitch and was intact on arrival. On reading the reviews one person mentioned using their floor jack and a slide in receiver for holding the hitch up and since I was going to be installing this myself I tried this out. As you can see in my pictures it works pretty well if you a jack you can bolt it too or clamp it too as in my case. The hitch only needed slight prying to line up the factory M12 bolts in the frame and the fishing wires made the job so much easier with the rest of the bolts. I am now ready to tow with confidence, thanks again for the great service.
I ordered Class V hitch C15572 for my 2018 RAM Sport Night edition 4x4 from etrailer.com. The item was delivered on time and the shipping was free. I watched the suggested installation video and a friend and I got it installed in under an hour.
All the holes lined up perfectly and everything was flush. This hitch is 60+ pounds, so make sure you have extra hands to hold it in place while bolting it up. The only small issue was there were some scratches on the hitch that were covered with brown paper. Not a big deal - it's a hitch!
I would recommend this hitch and eTrailer to anyone. My friend wants to order one for his RAM Truck!

All the products from this order have held up to the abuse ive put them through. Unfortunately/ Fortunately last month i acquired a new ram 2500, and will be buying new accessories from etrailer soon! Your customer service is great and prices are even better!!

Exactly how it was listed with all hardware to install.. arrived on time.. looks great
Put the hitch on, no problems. Took an hour and a half. The hitch was well engineered and fit in tight spaces and the bolt holes matched up. Used my motorcycle jack to put it in place but lacked about 2" of going high enough so had to get the floor jack out to move it one side at a time enough to get the bolts in.

Works well, no problems
The shipping box was heavily damaged however contents were not damaged beyond use. Notice I stated beyond use, it seams the left or perhaps the right frame supports were bent in slightly as we had a heck of a time getting the bolts started and tightened properly. It was a challenge to say the least, not fun. What would have been a 60-minute job in the air became over two hours.
This class 5 beast is gonna allow me to push my '12 Ram 1500 to its limits. All business and no pleasure unfortunately, but Ive been needing this for some time. 2 day turn around with a delivery way out away from town limits....and with free shipping?

These guys helped me select the exact hitch mount for my model truck (which wasn’t easy or obvious). The installation went exactly according to the instructions and now a year later it’s still working perfectly.
After trying 2 different hitches that didn't fit from ebay I ultimately ended up where I should've started, etrailer. Hitch showed up in 2 days and only took an hour to install. This actually will fit a 2019 to 2024 Ram 1500 Classic without the factory hitch. If you don't have the Classic though, then you do indeed have the incorrect hitch, unfortunately. If that's the case, you are going to want the TowSmart Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # TS83ZR. This will need to be ordered and then we can send out a return label for the other hitch you currently have, so just let me know how you need to proceed.
