Question:
I have a 2013 ram 1500 with the aftermarket rough country rear bumper, my question is how much support did the main hitch bolt make on the oem bumper? As with the aftermarket I don’t have a slot for it

The bolt that runs through the bumper and connects to the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13333 to the bumper is an integral component to ensure that it's properly mounted and can fully support weight within its capacities. If you don't have the slot for this bolt then you would need to switch to the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15572 instead, which would mount directly to the frame of your Ram.
