Looking For Installer For Curt C15572 Hitch On 2017 Ram 1500

Question:

I bought a curt 15572 tow hitch and it will not bolt in properly. The hole should have been round not oblong for the body bolt to get back in. I need to know where I can take this for someone to round out the hole here in Denver co near zip 80112. Andy

Hello Andy, thanks for reaching out, and for your recent order. I admit, this is the first I have heard of this issue when installing the Curt # C15572 hitch on a 2017 Ram 1500. You could try using a step drill bit to enlarge the hole. That is probably what they would use if you took it to a shop. If you are looking for a shop to help with install, we do have several qualified installers in your area. I recommend checking with Parker Trailers in Parker, or with Classic Trailer Sales in Wheat Ridge. You can always try calling anyone on the list and see what they say.

@JesseM I need to get that part over to them. I think it’s fixable and they have probably run into this before. Let me call them and get an appointment set up. I Will follow back up with you.
