Today on enclosed trailer we'll be installing the Ventline replacement operator with knob and screw for Ventline Ventadome trailer roof vent with metal dome. Part number BV0115-04. We'll also be installing the replacement dome assembly for the Ventline Ventadome trailer roof vent. Part number Bv0534-00. Now you'll need to first take apart the interior portion of the vent. There's four screws that hold the outer trim piece on.
You want to be extra careful here, as the plastic becomes very brittle as it gets older. Next there's two screws, one on the front and back, that hold the screen in place. These are small Phillips head screws. With that done, we'll go ahead and set the screen down out of the way. Next, you'll remove the two screws that hold the operator arm in place. You'll then slide the operator arm out through the slot.
We'll then take the new operator arm, slide it back up into place, and put the two screws back in, holding it to the frame of the vent. Next, we're going to need to go up on the roof of the trailer. Now we're ready to install the new cover. Just slide it in from one side and as you're doing that you want to make sure that the actuator arm slides through the round portion and then up into the channel. Now, it makes it a little easier if you have someone down in the trailer to help guide this through, or to raise and lower the actuator arm if need be. Now, we'll go ahead and lower the lid all the way down where we can bend the tab over. You want to make sure that both sides are bent far enough that there's no chance they can slide back out of the track.
Next, we'll need to go down into the trailer where we'll be attaching the friction clip to the operator arm. That way it can't come off of the new lid. You want to make sure that the concave side of the clip bears against the dome bar. If you've attached the handle temporarily, you will need to unscrew it so we can put the screen back up into place. Once the screen's back up into place you can go ahead and put the handle back on. Finally, we'll put the trim ring of the piece of plastic that goes around the outer edge with the four screws.
With that, that's all there is to it, to replacing the Ventline replacement operator with knob and screw for the Ventline Ventadome trailer roof vent with metal dome. Part number BV0115-04. .

Replaces the flat metal cover on Ventline Ventadome RV roof vents.product shipped fast & fits perfect
GREAT PRODUCT WILL NEVER HAVE TO REPLACE AGAIN LIKE THE OLD PLASTIC ONES I BOUGHT BEFORE!!!!!!
Good replacement for the plastic ones, won't be damaged by the sun or hail.
I got tired of replacing the 4 plastic covers on my vents. These metal ones should last forever. Thanks for your speedy service. Cole
Excellent solution to the plastic ones that fail with sun or environmental exposure. Sad comment on the production of the white and smoke versions that do not have UV protection. This metal cover will last thru sun, snow, rain and wind. I've replaced the plastic ones over and over... no more!
Excellent. Better alternative to the plastic dome vents
This cover was exactly what I needed to replace the plastic, sunrotted cover. Thanks
I received the dome assembly much faster than I expected, thank you. Due to a recent hail storm, I needed the dome sooner rather than later. It is good quality and fit nice. Thanks
product looks good, will install later this weekend, great price ,nice people ,shipping to my p.o. box was great, etrailer best on the web...............really
After enduring 4 1/2 years of harsh SE Utah weather (sun, snow, wind, etc) the plastic vent cover eventually self-destructed. This metal one fit perfectly with no hassle. Be sure to bend the little metal tabs so the cover doesn't slide around.
Product was well made and fits it's applacation well I am satisfied with the product and will shop ETRAILER again and I forgot to mention that the product arrived in a short time very good shipping department Thanks Jimmie
The Ventline metal lid will replace a plastic one and I will not have to worry about cracking, breaking, or replacement again.
It was great to find your website. No one has ever been as nice to order from than Katie. I was so glad you had the metal cover for my vent. The trailer stays in Florida and the sun had baked and cracked the cover that came on the trailer. It came in two days and with the simple instructions that came with it I had it installed within an hour. Thanks again for the great service.
I forgot to take pictures and the trailer is back in Florida
I'd like to say first that I love to shop at etrailer.com. They are in contact with you through all phases of the transaction and shipment and their prices are the best I've ever found. To find a site with excellent people, prices, shipping and followup is a gift to the customer. I'll be back next time I need anything for my trailer. Keep up the excellent work.
The Ventadome vent is exactly what I want at a great price with excellent packaging, shipping, and with prompt delivery. Thanks a bunch.
Very happy with the metal replacement cover to replace my dissenter grating plastic unit. Fits exactly.
The cover came very quickly and securely in the mail, very durable, well constructed and stream-lined. Installed fairly easily with your on line installation Tudors. Unfortunately my base has a different type hinge, so a few minor challenges, but for the most part doable. I still need to find a friction clip to secure my top to the actuator mechanism, but hopefully I can find it locally. Our Arizona sun destroys most plastics as our original cover had failed in about five years. I am very pleased with my new cover top, looking to it meeting and exceeding our needs!
The replacement covers are great.
I waited several months before writing a review so that I could make sure this replacement cover didn't leak. It hasn't! It was really easy to install which I did myself. For reference, I'm a 53 year old woman. Our trailer is an enclosed aluminum trailer, and this cover fit perfectly.
It was an easy install in the quality seemed excellent easy ordering
We have replaced over a dozen cracked and UV damaged plastic roof vents on our cargo trailers with the Ventline metal vents and replacement metal covers from etrailer.com.
etrailer has always provided us with fast turnaround time on deliveries and excellent follow-up and their pricing is very competitive.
I recommend etrailer to anyone who needs trailer parts and accessories.

Ordered this metal vent lid to replace the deteriorating plastic lid on my 2017 Lark trailer and have no regrets. This lid is well built, fit perfectly and operates smoother than the plastic one because it flexes less. Followed the directions on the package and had the lid replaced in 10 minutes or so. It was an easy swap and probly the best investment I could have made for the integrity of my trailer. No more worrying about hail busting that cheap plastic lid. I will definitely be ordering my new trailer with this lid installed. I highly recommend replacing those cheap plastic lids with this one.
GREAT PART AND GREAT SERVICE
Came exactly as advertised. Installed quickly. No pictures of before, the plastic completely fell apart in removing. I opted to paint it white with Rustoleum, and it works great. Wish I had known this was available the last time we replaced it. Should never have to replace this on this unit again. Will definitely remember this for ANY future applications.

It’s been installed a year now and still looks and works great. Best replacement for the top vent on the market. I am not sending another pic, because it still looks as good a year later.
Much lower profile than the original plastic dome I shattered when rolling my trailer into the garage (DOH!).
The Installation video was helpful but, due to the obscure screws my trailer manufacturer used to install the vent, I had to work topside, above the screen, using an offset screwdriver.
The replacement dome arrived very quickly (which was good, 'cause rain was on the way).
Easy install, no problems.

Great solution for a fix on original equipment to our trailer! Here in Arizona the abundant sun causes most plastics to deteriat and fail as seen in my original pictures. Since that installation no notible deteriation has been noted! Working Great!
