The box did have a rough trip. I will have our Customer Service team reach out to you.

Fit perfect took like 45minutes to have it on and ready to rock right after delivery looks super clean , customs mangled the box tho but didnt damage the product

by:
2012 Ram 1500

Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because it got bent in shipping. Not a lot but enough to not bolt up to the factory bumper bolts strait on. Once I got it lined up correctly it was no problem. Looks good and it definitely sturdy. Will have no problem pulling little pop up camper we plan on getting.

Outstanding customer service!! They were very courteous and helpful with my order over the phone. Handling/Shipping time was fast as well and order arrived within a couple of days. The Curt Class IV hitch for my son-in-law's 2014 Ram ST Crew Cab was just what it needed. It was easy to install with the supplied hardware and instructions.

by:

Easy ordering. Prompt delivery. Good product

by:

The class 3 trailer hitch I ordered was just delivered to my residents by UPS on time. This is the 1st. time I ordered anything from E Trade. A short time after I placed the ordered for the hitch that I wanted I received a call from a sales rep. He informed me they did not have that item in stock and it was going to take a little longer to get it. I informed him I needed in in a shorter time frame and he was able to help me make a change in selecting a different hitch. The hitch is not on truck yet ( this weekend) but so far I'am pleased with ETrade.

by:

I'm 67 years old with suspect shoulders but with the help of a floor jack I was able to do the installation by myself and it went very easily. One note however, the original frame bolts on the 2019 Ram 1500 Classics are metric but a 13/16 spark plug socket fits them well.

by:

Just received the curt tow hitch today and it came in pretty bad shape parts of it were sticking out from the box. A lot of scratches, shipped paint from rubbing on the floor (hopefully it doesn't rust now) some scratches/dents are very deep in others not too bad. I'm more worried about the deep ones that can cause it to rust. I'll send you some pictures.

by:

Great service and easy to order from Adam. He got us set up with our application and walked us through the process.

by:
2012 Dodge Ram Pickup

Wow. Ground shipped. Received in two days. Installed In about and hour by myself. Rigged up two floor jacks with a board between jacks and the hitch. Cranked it up into position and bolted it in.
As you can see from pic, it is pretty concealed.

by:

Great product...extremely satisfied came in a very timely manner all hardware was there with easy to follow DIY instructions install took at max 1.5 hours

2016 Ram 1500

Received quickly in 2 days. Fit correctly no problems went right on. I would have given five stars but the packaging was not good one end of the bar was sticking out of the box and the powder coat was scratched. I would definitely recommend this hitch it looks clean and installs easy.

by:

Good quality trailer hitch. Shipped quickly and overall very happy. The only hang up was there was difficulty with the installation as the exhaust pipe was placed too close to where it was supposed to be mounted to the truck. This made installing much more challenging to shimmy the assembly into place for proper mounting. This added an extra hour and headache to the install.

by:
2013 Ram 1500

Product came within 2 days as I requested 2 day shipping. Got it last night around 6 pm. Got up this morning and installed the hitch. I've never installed one and it took me about 30-45 minutes. It was simple and fast. Bolted right up with no issues. Very impressed with this product. It looks clean and everything sits level. Can't wait to put it to use this weekend.

by:

The box was in pretty rough shape, but all the fasteners were there. The install was easier than I thought it would be. I'm 74, and I installed it by myself.

by:
2017 Ram 1500

Excellent quality, easy installation. Put this on in my driveway in less than an hr by myself. Except for the 45 pound weight, it's not much of a problem. You may need help depending on that. Very clean made product. Mine may or may not ever see weight it is capable of towing, but for not much more cost i think it is worth having.

by:
2016 Ram 1500

I installed this by myself in the rain!! It's literally that easy, and the tube steel looks amazing. The "how to" video for my exact truck was a huge plus for reference. Now my 2016 ram 1500 is actually a truck! I plan on using a trailer to keep my truck from getting scratched and dented with yard work.

by:
2016 Ram 1500

Product was as advertised and the installation was very easy. everything fit without perfect. I'm not a big guy and I installed it by myself with the car parked on a flat surface. Took me 35 minutes for install. Only concern was that the box was badly damaged during shipping, thankfully product was in good condition and all hardware was there.

Product has been great. The finish on the hitch receiver has held up beautifully. Thanks for checking.

2014 Ram 1500

My review is close to others. Yes the shipping was fast, box was beat up. That didn’t bother me. It was an easy install (goes better with 2 people) of course but i made due. How ever the holes did not line up like others have stated and had some minor issues which the repair shop will have to address. Once that is done i look forward to pulling my camper this spring.

We were at all times email when the item was being shipped and if we needed additional information to contact them for help. It came sooner than expected. It was absolutely perfect for our truck. It was super easy to instal. We are READY to pull our travel trailer. Will definitely recommend etrailer 110%

Great product that had a factory fit. No problems whatsoever and the install was super easy with the provided instructions. Would definitely buy again.

Great product! Needed a hitch for my Ram 1500, gave etrailer a shot. They were the cheapest I could find. First one that was mailed was bent(first picture). Lazer was a huge help. Excellent customer service! Helped facilitate a hassle free return and sent a new one right away. Would be five stars, if I hadn't tried to fight to get the bent one on by bending it back, as I was instructed to do by another employee(not Lazer). Wasted 3 hours and a lot of patience. Only took about 30 minutes to get the replacement on. Loops great on my truck, can't wait to put it to use!! Thanks etrailer and Lazer!

by:

Great quality, very clear instructions relatively easy to install with two people. 100% recommend

by:

Hitch is well constructed and installation went well with assistance from Etrailer videos. Thanks much for the fast shipping!

by:

The hitch installed very simply. No issues with this hitch works great!

  • Class IV Receiver Hitch for 2019 Dodge Ram 1500
There are two Class IV trailer hitches that fit your 2019 Ram 1500 the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 14374 and Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 75232. Both of these trailer hitches have a 2" receiver, 10,000 lb maximum towing capacity and 1,000 lb maximum tongue weight capacity. They are bolt-on installations so you will not have to drill to install either on your truck. I have added a link to installs of both hitches on a '19 Ram 1500 Classic for you.

  • Recommended Class IV Trailer Hitch For 2021 Ram 1500 Classic
For your 2021 Ram 1500 Classic I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Class IV # 14374 for a few key reasons. This hitch is made right here in the USA, and in our experience the powder coat finish found on the Curt hitches holds up the best over time keeping the hitch looking great and preventing rust for years to come. Keep in mind that this hitch is only designed for trucks that did not come with a factory trailer hitch, and there is not a Class IV hitch that fits the trucks with...

Yes, you can install a heavier duty hitch on your 2018 Ram 1500. You will need to remove the factory hitch first there are no options to add one and keep the factory hitch. Once this is done I recommend replacing it with the Curt Trailer Hitch item # 14374. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Ram with included hardware. The Curt item # 14374 has plenty of towing capacity for your 7,000 lbs trailer. It maxes out at 10,000 lbs without a weight distribution system and 12,000 lbs when...

I have edited a photo for you which shows the bolt hole spacing, measured center to center. I have also provided the drop of the receiver, which is the distance from the top of the receiver tube to the top of the hitch mounting flanges. Keep in mind, this hitch is custom fit for a 2009-2013 Dodge Ram 1500. Altering the hitch to fit your Ford F150 may have an unknown effect on the weight bearing capacity of the hitch, and will also void any warranty coverage.

To install a receiver like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 14374 your 2017 Ram 1500 you will have to remove the factory rear bumper along with the receiver. If you have the 2020 Ram 1500 Classic, the # 14374 you'd looked at would be a great choice, and would provide a 10000 lb towing/1000 lb tongue weight capacity for standard towing or # 12000 lbs towing/1200 lb tongue weight if used with weight distribution. I don't have the authority or ability to say that welding parts of your hitch will increase weight ratings - that's something you'll have to get in writing from a dealer.
