Every thing needed was included. You need to be a bit of a contortionist but if this 75 year old can install it you can.
Works as it should, a little difficult to install (physically), but had to have it for my application, well made and quality parts.
instructions could have been better.

Upon the recommendation of one of your towing specialists, I ordered every component that I needed to flat tow my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee behind my 2013 Newmar Bay Star motorhome. I got the necessary Roadmaster tow bar and other accessories plus the SMI Stay-IN-Play braking system. I have towed over 5000 miles so far without any significant issues. Hook up is straight-forward and takes about 15 minutes to complete. I couldn't be happier with the towing experience!
Used it for the brake activation light in my towed vehicle. Easily adjustable as far as depth . Positioning took a little work but the bracket is specific to a vehicle other than mine.
Instructions in the kit and video on the website were very complete and made for a very easy installation. Suggestion to Roadmaster on the bracket....make some sort of positive location tab for the bracket because the location is only made secure by the tightening of the bolt. Also, the way the Jeep bracket that you bolt to is designed, there's no way to get a wrench or socket to hold the backside bolt head. Maybe come up with something to keep it from spinning.
All of the etrailer.com products I have purchased were perfect. The shipping was right on time. I have told several of my friends and acquaintances about etrailer.com.
Bracket came with one undersized bolt and nut. The bracket it attached to had two holes. If the bracket was longer and had another bolt it would be more stable.

I recommend looking at the video installation that we have on a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee starting at mark 2:18. You can see the bracket location and that it uses a five sixteenth by three quarter inch bolt.
Unit worked well, fit nicely. Was awkward for me to install because of location under dash, but bracket was designed well fit right up.
Working like a champ! Install was a breeze with etrailer. Can't believe that I was on the road without a TOAD brake.

Great product. Works great. Installation was a little tricky for my Jeep Grand Cherokee but we figured it out.
Instructions were clear making the installation relatively easy. Parts fit like they were supposed to.
Nice switch, used this as an add on switch for brake controller for 2018 Jeep Compass
A necessity for the towing application. It works perfectly.
Everything Installed and worked well. Towed my Grand Cherokee Back from California with no problems.
