Question:
I have a 2019 Sprinter/Winnebago 24D RV. I have a brake controller already installed. I want to flat tow my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It has the ability to be towed flat. What all do I need to get the RV and GC hooked up to tow?

Hey Kelly, thanks for the information! To flat tow your 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee you will need the following parts:
Tow Bar and Safety Chains - etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plates item # e74ZR
Base Plate Kit - Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms item # RM-521440-5 - This will not work with the SRT-8 or Trackhawk models.
Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267
Supplemental Braking System - Curt RVi Series Shadow 2 Flat Tow Brake System item # RVI94FR for a permanent install or the Curt RVi Series 4 Portable Flat Tow Brake System item # RVI44FR for a portable system.
Please note you will also need the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit item # RM-751449 if you go with the permanently installed item # RVI94FR. This makes sure your braking system isn't applying when it's not supposed to.
High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter. I have linked a FAQ article that explains all this in more detail along with our selection of adapters.
You mentioned your Sprinter has a brake controller. Do you also have a hitch and a 7-way connector? Is your Grand Cherokee a SRT-8 or Trackhawk model?
You can add this information and any other questions you have where it says Reply to Jerred H and I'll be happy to answer them.
