Question:
My 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited WK - old body does not have a tow package. There is no brake controller connector located under the dash, behind the hood release, on top of the large plug. I have looked all around behind the dash, and it is not there. How do I locate and connect to the brake signal wire if there is no brake controller connector?

Hi Andrew; there won't be a factory tow port since you don't have the tow package. The # RED69FR wiring harness you ordered splices in for the installation of the # RED24FR. It will be very similar to the installation video I attached below which includes the # ETBC7 you ordered. The blue brake output wire will connect to the wiring from the # ETBC7, the black wire is power, the white is ground, and the red connects to the cold side of the stoplight switch on your Jeep.

Yes. How do I find the cold side of the stoplight switch? Is the stoplight the light in the rear window?
