Getting ready to tow is simple with the twist-lock arms. Slide each arm into the receiver, rotate it until it locks in place, and secure it with the pin. When you’re done, pull the pin, turn the arm, and remove it. It’s straightforward and takes only seconds to go from driving to towing. The bracket spacing is 24" with a bracket height of 18", so you can plan your tow bar alignment precisely.
This base plate bolts straight to the chassis for strength and simplicity. The steel construction is powder coated to resist rust and corrosion and uses a design that spreads towing forces evenly across the vehicle frame to help minimize stress on suspension components. Everything mounts securely with the included hardware—no welding needed—so it’s a reliable setup for long hauls.
The sturdy lugs pair directly with Blue Ox tow bars for a secure link every time. If you use Roadmaster or Demco gear, adapters (RM-031/RM-031-5 or DM9523041, sold separately) make them compatible too. Integrated mounting points let you attach an electrical connector plug bracket without extra fabrication, keeping your wiring neat and protected up front.

Product review after a year of towing hasnt changed. Still happy and have not had any problems with the Blue Ox baseplate. I would purchase it again.
