  If you look at the brackets of the TorkLift HiddenPower Under-Vehicle Battery Mount # TLA7727 you'll see that the top hook goes much wider than the bottom one.   I would agree that is a lot of money for a battery box to carry two Group 27 batteries. For something more affordable we have the NOCO part # 329-HM408, and the part # 329-HM484 which are a little bigger than needed but would still work great.

I looked at some pictures of the 2011 Lance 2185 and it appears that there is some space between the front of the body and the propane tanks. If that space is greater than 9-3/4 inches then the battery box will fit.

  I am surprised that you wish to mount your TorkLift # TLA7712R Battery Box to the back of your RV as you will need quite a bit of extra wiring ran to this new location. In the videos they show the included mounting hardware which is bolts which would require holes in the bumper. We also use self-taping screws which would present the same issue.   I called my contact at Cequent, who owns Tekonsha, about whether or not the Prodigy RF 90250 can be mounted inside a metal battery box and he said yes, no, and maybe. It all depends on the material on the metal box that you are putting it in. Since the Prodigy RF works via radio frequency certain types of metal will not allow the signal to work properly.
