Can Trailer Towing Wiring Be Installed When Flat Towing Wiring Is Already Installed?

i have BX88368 installed on my jeep for flat towing. is there an additional wiring adapter to allow additional 4 way plug to be added so i can tow a small trailer behind my jeep when not flat towing the jeep? Thank you

Great question, Victor!

You can absolutely install trailer wiring if you already have flat towing wiring installed. The vast majority of trailer wiring will install inline with the taillights, just as most of the flat tow wiring does. Installing both will not negatively affect either system and we have people do it very often.

For your 2025 Jeep Wrangler, I would recommend going with the Tekonsha T-One # 118786. This does install in the manner mentioned above and Tekonsha is known for being the longest lived of the wiring harnesses we offer. Definitely the way to go.
