Can you please provide all items needed to flat tow a 2022 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe. Rv is a 2022 Sunseeker 3010dsf and has hitch.

Hello again Mak,

I answered your original question that you asked on 05/26, but maybe you are asking again because I went with the Roadmaster base plate, but it looks like you want the Blue Ox base plate. So here is a tow package for your 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe with Blue Ox base plate:

- Base Plate: Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BX1139 (for factory plastic or steel bumper)

- Tow Bar: Blue Ox Alpha 2 Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,500 lbs # BX7380 (safety cables are included)

- Wiring: If your Rubicon has ParkSense proximity sensors you will need the smart diodes # RM63MR, if you do NOT have ParkSense # RM-15267

- Braking System: since your Coach has hydraulic brakes you will want the # DM86VR, you will need to install the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM23MR first.

- Charge Line: Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25, this is to ensure that your Jeep's battery stays charged while flat towing.

I am not sure if you are new to flat towing or a seasoned flat tower that is getting a new set-up, but I also included a help article on the must have component needed to flat tow. Thank you. I didn’t realize that the note was attached to items I was looking at. I’m new to flat towing and would use any equipment that is preferred. I also would like a hitch for the back of the Jeep. This would be for towing when not attached to RV.

@Mark Well the good news is that I can't really choose one over the other, Blue Ox and Roadmaster are both great companies that make high quality products! Some say the Blue Ox is a little easier to install. Just make sure that if you go with the Blue Ox that you go with the Blue Ox tow bars so that you do not have to get any additional adapters. For a hitch for the back of the Jeep, you will want our etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e98856. I like how our hitch comes in a matte black finish, really gives it that OEM look. If you wanted a glossy black finish then go with the Curt # C13392. Flat tow wiring, and towing wiring are different. For trailer wiring, you will want the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118786. This is going to put a 4 flat on the back of the Jeep to get all the lights on the trailer working. If you plan on towing a trailer that has brakes and need a 7 way, you will still need to install the # 118786, and then build on top of that by installing a kit we put together here in house, the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires # ETBC7. I recommend installed the trailer wiring before the flat tow wiring when you do the install. I attached some install videos for you to take a look at. If you decide you do not feel like doing the install, we do have dealers all over the US that will do it for a fee of course. I attached a link to our Dealer Locator if you choose to go that route.
