Wow! The hitch receiver was exactly what I ordered and it fits my 2021 Wrangler Willys perfectly. Did not need to enlarge holes or drop exhaust. It is very well fabricated and powder coated. And it came with a wonderful little surprise as an extra!

Still works and looks great!
Solid built much thicker than factory. I have the tow package on our JLUR the only issue I had was the factory plug bracket. The Curt design wraps around the bottom frame rail blocking one of the bolt holes. I used a step bit to drill a hole through the receiver so the one bolt hole can attach to the frame. A washer was used on the other side as a spacer to secure it evenly.

Our hitch has been great, it arrived quickly and very nicely packaged with a surprise. It was easy to install, my wife did most of the install hherself.
Product packaging for shipping is probably the worst I've seen. Box was delivered damaged with a hole (opening) to the inside of the box. Opened the box and there was absolutely no padding whatsoever. Bag holding the assembly hardware was open. Bolts, nuts, and washers were loose within the box. And, to top it off, some of the installation hardware is missing. Most likely fell out of the hole in the packaging. Who in their right mind would think it's okay to package goods for shipping in this manner? This was my first and possibly my last purchase from etrailer.

Literally took 10 minutes to install! You don't have to drop the exhaust off the hangers either. Simple bolt on fully welded bracket built very well. Nothing monstrous, remember it's only a jeep lol
Installed on 2017 Jeep Wrangler 2 - door. Easy install. Factory bolts lined up with slotted hitch holes. Was able to get wrench up between hitch and muffler and did not need to take muffler off as suggested in the instructions. Make sure you have a torque wrench that goes to 110 ft/lbs. That is tight.

great customer service. I needed a trailer hitch that was a little out of the ordinary. Etrailer told me what i needed to know. In fact they were the only people who would talk to me. The manufacturer, Curt would not give me any dimensions of there hitches. All they would say is "our hitches are designed to fit a particular vehicle". Maybe that's a CYA policy?

In the photo the hitch is just sitting on top of the bumper. I have yet to mount it.
I like the thickness of the metal. using the holes in the cross member. will be using a cargo rack for beach things. e-trailer has come thru again. this is a gift for a son & wife for helping us out
Not so quite perfect fit after some “wrangling” around and some hammering on a folded towel over each side of the hitch.
The three random parts for three separate vehicles all arrived in one package. Intact, undamaged with all necessary hardware as foretold by the fine people at E-Trailer!
The hitch was installed with no problems. The brake buddy was short on wiring instructions. The diagram was not clear and the written instructions stopped short of explaining how the wires come together. Had to watch the video to finish. But, it all worked out well.
The hitch receiver fit per the original from the factory but there was not two holes for the mounting of the wiring harness bracket, just one hole so the wiring harness bracket is supported with just one bolt rather the intended two bolts.
Easy installation
Just like the video the hitch was easy to install and arrived right on time. etrailer is always a “go-to” company.
We both this hitch to add to our 2020 wrangler jlu so we can pull the skis. Needless to say it was a perfect fit and came with all the hardware necessary to install. Highly recommend this hitch.

I’m trying to install this hitch but when I went under, I saw these two screws (see attached). I’m not sure what it is and if it’s ok to remove, install the hitch and put it back. I have a 2018 JL Rubicon unlimited.

I spoke with my representative in the tech services department at Curt Manufacturing and was told that its perfectly acceptable to remove the 2 bolts shown in the photos you provided and substituting them with the bolts provided with the hitch.
Great qualifications, easy install. I have a Jeep JL wrangler Sahara so the outside bolts were already present with the welded on nuts.on a plate behind the cross member. Just lightly pries out the plate, Slipped the hitch between it and the cross member. And threaded the bolts tbrough. Use the original bolts as they are a different thread and head size.
Wonderful quality and great finish. No grinding, pounding, or retrofitting needed. Slipped right in.
Had to install 2” drop extender to be able to open the tailgate and it came out great.

Keep in mind, installing any extender will lower the tongue weight capacity of the hitch listed on ID sticker affixed to hitch by half.
I know all shippers go through packages, but y’all might want to reconsider using USPS.

good morning unfortunately we have not used the hitch we sold the motor home so we have it for sale.
Installed easily as per instructions.
Looks a lot better built than factory. Just what I needed.
