Install your Redarc Tow-Pro electronic brake controller (sold separately) quickly and easily with this custom wiring adapter. Plug one end of the adapter into your Tow-Pro brake controller and plug the other end in beneath your vehicle's dash.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Redarc plug and play wiring harness for the tow pro trailer brake controllers. This wiring adapter eases the installation of your Redarc tow pro classic or tow pro elite electric brake controller. The custom connector end plugs into the port beneath your vehicle's dash so this is a vehicle specific wiring harness. And then the other end plugs into the tow pro electric brake controller. Now if you're using this on the tow pro elite, it plugs directly in there. If you're using this on the tow pro classic, some wire splicing is required.I also want to point out that it has a protective mesh that goes over the wires.
It keeps the wires bundled together and protected. That's going to do it for today's look at the Redarc plug and play wiring harness for the tow pro trailer brake controllers.
The TPH-020 harness fit my 2024 Ram Rebel perfectly. The hardest part of the installation was reaching the factory harness and untaping it with one hand. Haven’t towed with it yet but should work great.
Could very well be the easiest brake system to install.Functions superbly and most of all not intrusive like the old style brake controllers.If you are thinking about purchasing one watch the install videos on etrailer, they have a few for different models of vehicles. Make sure to get the adapter cord that fits your car or truck, makes installation a breeze. Highly recommend!

The Redarc Brake controller has worked with no issues since my install. I believe the most simple to install and setup on the market. I would highly recommend to get the adapter cord for your vehicle to simplify even more.

Well built cable. How ever this cable will not fit a 2025 1500. The connection to the truck harness needs to be a female end. This cable has a male end. After looking for a different cable with no luck, I just cut the connector off and spliced into the trucks trailer brake harness with no issues.
This is the best brake controller I have owned. So easy to install especially if you by the harness for your year vehicle looks great to no ugly controller taking up room

Woohoo! Glad this one is topping the charts! And just out of curiosity, what are some of the other brands you've tried?
Saw a YouTube video from etrailer installing on a 2020 ram 1500, very instructional to the point, detailed, I got it done in about an hour. Took my camper for a test drive just like the video said it was blinking blue and green eventually turned blue after it calibrated. Found a setting that worked for me after that, thank you! Sleek design compared to the bulky old systems
Performed as expected. No difficulty with installation.
I installed this on my 2021 RAM 1500. If your truck has a "towing package" but no factory brake controller, this is what you need to hook up your Redarc brake controller. Watch the videos, it's not a simple job but most people can handle it.

Easy to install. Happy Etrailer provided video to properly install. Can't say the manufacturer instructions were all that clear, but not faulting them.
Harness does exactly what it is supposed to do, connection from Redarc TowPro Elite controller into 2021 Ram Rebel factory harness. Tested all wires on bench prior to installation and everything checked out, and no loose terminal ends in cheap connector here at all.

A year later towing with our 21 Ram Rebel 1500 and everything is Still spot on. Redarc TowPro Elite controller with harness from etrailer is the best self-calibrating unit I have ever used.
I already used this product once on my Jeep gladiator so I expected it to work just like I have on my ram pick up truck
This harness worked well for hooking up my Redarc brake controller to my 2020 Gladiator. Two wires need to be reversed. There is a youtube video on how to do that. It's very easy.

It works as well as the day it was installed.
Trailer brake controller works perfectly. Good control of trailer braking with a dial of the knob.
Installation of electrical was easy with plug and play harness, however the mechanical installation took some time.
Very satisfied with the product.
This unit connected easily to the truck's quick connector for trailer brakes. Couldn't be happier with the Plug and Play Harness and with the Redarc controller.
Easy to install product but I never would ave attempted it without the detailed installation video. Also eTrailer knows the correct adapter so there was no guessing.
Works as advertised. Excellent video on how to install made it easy to follow along. Pretty much plug and play. Easy to adjust and easy to use and get to. Had an Echo controller before and was ok in a pinch but was erratic plus fumbling around with cell phone is not the easiest and safest. Installed on 2018 Ram 1500.
Etrailer's web site determined which wiring harness I needed based on my vehicle. It fit perfectly and was delivered along with the controller in just a few days. I don't know what else you could ask for.
This wiring hooked up to the factory harness on my 2022 Ram 2500 without any problems. Have not tried the entire braking system out yet but it seems to be working without a trailer.
When you need a quality part for your Trailer or Tow Vehicle, there is only one place to shop eTrailer. I have bought replacement lights, water heaters and several brake controllers for my Trailers and trucks. Good quality parts with excellent instructions and Technical Support.
The Redarc trailer brake controller bolt stripped out upon trying to tighten it. Contacted Etrailer and they said they wouldn’t warranty it and I would have to contact the manufacturer. I’ve spent so much money here and I think it’s a joke they won’t warranty something I bought from them. I guess it’s time to start buying trailer supplies elsewhere.
Installation was as easy as could be expected working under a dash. Not as flexible as I once was. Wiring harness DEFINITELY worth the money. Took about an hour and a few zip ties. Much better than $xxx/hr to have it installed.
Trailer brake install video specific for my Ram 1500 truck was very helpful. Ram connection cable was perfect fit.
The tow mirrors will work fir now until I decide on vehicle tow mirror replacement
The controller was easy to install after I watched a video on the installation. The instructions for insalling the control did not show where the brake control plugged in. I have not tried pulling a trailer yet.
