Question:
I have a 2019 Ram 3500 and my trailer was just outfitted with electric over hydraulic brakes. I have the factory 7-way and time-delay controller and now it seems like my trailer brakes are not coming on? What do I need to do?

That's a good question, and the reason your electric over hydraulic brakes are not activating is because the time-delayed brake controller is not compatible with electric over hydraulic brakes, so what you'll need to do is get a brake controller that is compatible.
For that I strongly recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR, and since you have the factory 7-way you will only need the Redarc Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness for Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controllers # 331-TPH-020 to install it.
The reason the Tow-Pro Elite is so great is because of its control knob which keeps a cumbersome unit out of the cab of your 2019 Ram 3500, and because it gives you more control over your trailer braking power than any other brake controller. The control knob of the Tow-Pro Elite can be installed anywhere you like in your truck, which saves you space and also means you won't be bumping your knee against a unit that has to mount under the dash, which is a bane to the majority of brake controller users.
Along with being able to mount the control knob wherever you like, the Tow-Pro Elite also has two braking modes, the standard proportional control, which powers your trailer brakes with the same intensity as your vehicle brakes, or user-controlled mode, which allows you to apply the brakes with a pre-set amount of power your choosing. This can be really helpful in a number of situations, and especially helpful when going off-road or even when going down a long descent, because you can set your trailer braking to a higher intensity, which keeps the trailer from pushing your truck.
I have added a link to a video review of the Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # 331-EBRH-ACCV2 and Wiring Harness # 331-TPH-020 for you to check out as well.
