Does an OEM Mopar Brake Controller Kit require the computer to be flashed after installation on a 2019 Ram 1500 DT?

Yes, if you are going to install the Mopar Brake Controller Kit on your 2019 Ram 1500 you will need to have the computer flashed to be able to use the factory controller.
We do have the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR which you can connect using the Redarc Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness # 331-TPH-020. This controller is its own standalone unit and will not require any programing from a dealer to utilize. It has a small control know which you can mount to your dash to easily adjust braking power sent to the trailer. Best of all it is proportional and will work on trailers with either electric or electric over hydraulic brakes.
