Will The Facotry Brake Controller In A 2022 Ram 3500 Work With A Titan BrakeRite EOH Actuator

Question:

I am considering the Brakerite actuator for EOH disc brake system. How can I determine if my trucks Integrated Brake Control module is compatible with this actuator? 2022 RAM 3500 with the OEM control module installed.

Dexter makes module adapters to connect the BrakeRite # DX82KR to Ford and Chevy OEM controllers, but unfortunately does not for Ram so you'll need to install an aftermarket EOH brake controller. The OEM module adapters typically have a delayed response time as well so it's honestly better to go with an aftermarket option to avoid this issue.

For your 2022 Ram 3500 I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller # RED44FR along with the Redarc Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness for Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controllers # 331-TPH-020 for a super simple installation. This brake controller has the smallest footprint on the market to give you more mounting flexibility. With just the knob showing it will also give you a factory look just like your OE brake controller. Once installed this controller will override your factory brake controller so you won't have to disable anything.
