Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a real quick look at these replacement magnet clips for electric brake assemblies. Now these magnet clips are going to attach the brake magnet to your brake assembly, and this is going to fit 10 inch, 12 inch, and 12 and a quarter inch brake assemblies that use the cross hatch center opening magnets. These worked well.
The old brakes on my trailer didn't even have retainer clips when they were built, because I think Lewis and Clark towed this trailer with them across the Louisiana Purchase. These clips were perfect to hold the brake magnets in place and I am happy I decided to try them, even though the old brake configuration didn't even use them. The whole order arrived a day sooner than I expected, too.
Bob W - 07/20/2015Parts arrived on time via UPS. Took them right over to the machinist and within an hour was able to pick up my hub & drum. The machinist works at an auto parts store and the distributors for the store couldn't match the specs of the Dexter Wheel Lugs so had to special order these from etrailer. Got excellent service. Suggest you follow the instructions from Dexter for reassembly of the wheel and axle system.
I recommend you also order the end of spindle snap ring as well as the magnet clips for this job.
The product and the shipment time frame were excellent. This is a simple product (brake clip) but the service will definitely lead me to do business with etrailer again.........
No problem with etrailer. But I got the wrong size. Needed the smaller clips. look carefully

The parts fit like they should.
The clips seemed to fit kinda tight. I'm hoping i am ok. I have the 10 inch and am wondering if this one size fits all is the reason. Just makes me a bit nervous.
