Great product and fast service. I will be back I have other trailers and I have told several or maybe even many people about you. Thank you so much These were mostly bearings and seals for a heavy trailer so I don't have any pictures. Take my word for it though with them 362100

My old seals were discontinued, but they had the matching tables to the new ones which turned out to be a perfect match to the old. Did not have this luck at two other sites. Highly recommend this company as you get what you need the first time and you get it quick! 82891

  • RTV Sealant Recommendation for Oil Seal for Dexter Axles
The Unitized Oil Seal # 10-51 would require that you apply RTV like part # LT37464 to the outer diameter of the seal before you install it per Dexter's seal installation instructions. This seal is designed as a replacement for Dexter 9K and 10K axles.

  • Replacement Oil Seal Needed for Older 9K Dexter Axle
I spoke with my contact at Dexter Axle who said that your axle is rated for 9,000 lbs and uses the inner bearing # 387A, outer bearing # 25580, and seal # 10-51. This seal has an inner diameter of 2.875" and an outer diameter of 3.880". I would verify that this is compatible with your hub by using a digital caliper like part # 301-17068.

  • Orientation Of Grease Seal On Hub
I have attached a photo of the inside of a hub you can check out. In the photo the arrow indicates how the seal is installed on the hub. As you can see the flat side of the seal is flush with the edge on the inside of the hub.

  • Measuring for Correct Replacement Oil Seal for Oil Bath Type Trailer Hub on 2005 Ranger Trailer
We do carry a range of seals for oil bath type hubs like the ones from your 2005 Ranger trailer. I do not have access to all seal specs for Ranger trailers so you'll just want to take precise measurements of the current seal inner and outer diameters. Then you can use the linked page that displays all oil seals and select the matching dimensions. For example, a unitized seal like # 10-51 has an inner diameter of 2.875-inches and an outer diameter of 3.880-inches. This seal does have...

  • How To Determine The Right Replacement Grease Seal
If you have the bearing numbers and the axle capacity, we may be able to find the right seal for your trailer. If not, you will need to take an accurate measurement of the outside diameter of your existing seal, or the inside diameter of the mounting surface for the seal in the hub. You will also need to get an accurate measurement of the spindle at the seal surface. I have attached a photo that shows the areas you will need to measure. You will need a precision instrument like a dial...

  • Replacement Bearings and Seals for Dexter Axle 10K Axle with Oil Bath
I can give you a few different options but to know the exact bearings, races, and seals you need for an oil bath on your 10K Dexter Axle you will need to take some measurements on your spindle using a digital caliper like part # 301-17068 or by finding the part numbers on these pieces. Attached is a photo to show you where the part numbers are located as well as where you will need to measure on your spindle. One set of common bearings/seals are inner bearing # 387A (2.250" inner diameter)...

  • Replacement Bearings and Seal for Dexter 10k Trailer Hub
The bearings you need are # 387A for the inner bearing, # 25580 for the outer bearing, and for the seal # 10-51 since we know you have a 10k Dexter axle. For brake assemblies you'd need the part # 23-450 for the left hand side and part # 23-451 for the right hand side. For a hub you'd need # 8-430-5UC3.

  • How to Pick Out Bearing for 10,000 lb Dexter Axle
We have the bearing part # 387A which is over 2 inches in inner diameter and is seen on 10,000 lb axles but I'd have to know exactly what your spindle dimensions are to know for sure what you'd need. If you can use a digital caliper like the # PTW80157 to get me the exact dimension of the spindle where the bearings and seal ride I'll be able to let you know which parts you need. A very common bearing combo for Dexter 10k axles is # 387A and # 25580. Races needed are # 382A and # 25520....

  • Availability of Spindle and Hubs for 10,000 lb Trailer Axle
As you may have noticed, the highest capacity spindle we carry is for a 7,000 lb axle, # TRU37FR. Your best bet is to source the spindles for a 10,000 lb axle through a local trailer shop or dealer. If are able to source the spindles, we do have hubs for 10,000 lb axles. I'll list them below: # 8-430-5UC3 - Dexter Hub Drum for 9K to 10K axles manufactured after July 2009 (for non ABS brakes) - uses inner bearing # 387A, outer bearing # 25580 and oil seal # 10-51 # K08-288-90 -...
