Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a brief look at this replacement shock absorber for the Titan Model 60 brake actuators. This is going to replace the shock absorber for the Titan Model 60 brake actuators. And this is also going to fit the Dico Model 60 brake actuators as well. Now, just to give you some overall dimensions, gonna pull out my ruler here.
Looking at the collapsed length, I'm not gonna be able to show you the extended length. But looking at the collapse length, lining up my ruler center to center here, we are sitting right at almost five inches as you can see there, center to center. So, that's gonna be the collapsed length. And on the extended length, this is gonna be sitting right at about 6 1/4 inches. So, if you are needing a replacement shock absorber for your Titan or Dico Model 60 brake actuator, this is going to be an exact replacement from Titan, so you can trust that it's going to work with your Model 60 brake actuators.

This product was of very good quality. There were no problems in installing it and it's working fine.
the product is fine, it was just not the right shock for a Dexter/UFP A-60. The website is not real clear on this and probably needs to be adjusted.
Just finished putting brakes, rims and new tires on my boat trailer. Etrailer had everything I needed to get the Job done. I received my tires and wheels only to discover I was sent 3-14" tires and 1-15". I quickly called and talked with Courtney and she was very apologetic and made sure the right tire and rim were sent out the same day. I received it 5 days later and was able to complete the job. I will definitely use etrailer again in the future, it was a pleasure dealing with them. Here is a picture of my project.

Ordered this shock absorber for the surge breaks on my car dolley. When I was towing my car on the dolley, the surge breaks would 'chuck' (swiftly engaging and disengaging causing the dolley and car to quickly stop / start as the breaks went on and off) The shock fit exactly and seems to have fixed the problem. That takes a lot of the worry about towing a car off my shoulders, and that is a good thing!!
I ordered the part on a Tuesday and it arrived here in Florida, after crossing half the country, on Friday morning. Great job!

Item appeared to have been installed / used though listed as new. The part’s appearance does not matter but getting long service life does
Fit well on my 20 yr old trailex alum car trailer. This part along with a new master cylinder solved the shuttering when applying brakes. The hydraulic channels in the master cyl are tiny and corrosion can block the channels.
There was a loud clunk and you could feel it when using the surge brakes on our ski boat trailer. The master cylinder was badly pitted. Now the braking is smooth and responsive.

Can’t actually tell if this is working or not…. Boat trailer just bounces when it’s stopped at an intersection

This was exactly what I needed to fix the tongue on my trailer. It was sliding in and out about three inches, causing a bang when a started and stopped. The trailer is for a 2000 Bayliner boat. This shock absorber matched the old one perfectly. And, it only took about ten minutes to replace.

It has been a year since I wrote this review. A year and 5000 miles. The shock absorber continues to do its job as designed. Anyone with this chucking problem should take a look at this cure. Easy to do and worth the effort
