Are Surge Actuator Shocks Normally Hard to Push In and Pull Out

Question:
How to determine if it’s working propenly.? It pushes in very slowly and is hard to pull back out also. Does this mean it’s working ?

Shocks like the Replacement Shock Absorber part # T2336200 that you referenced are normally pretty hard to push in and pull out so if that is what you are experiencing then yes it would seem like yours is working normally.
