Not the right end piece, SLOW shipping when I paid for faster shipping that was promised a day earlier. Why pay for fast shipping if they ship the same speed as free shipping. I’ll just order elsewhere next time instead of paying so much for trailer parts. When I called them they did nothing to help or fix the shipping rip-off.

by:

Exactly the right part. Etrailer shipped it within a couple hours of my order. Tracking was great and it arrived on time. They couldn't have done better unless they brought in person and installed it for me.

by:

Fits and works perfectly. Rebuilt entire coupler and trailer springs

I have been restoring the brakes on my 20 year old boat trailer. After replacing the master cylinder, hoses, and brake drum assemblies they still weren't working right. Looking at the picture of the actuator rod that fits into the master cylinder, I knew what I saw didn't look right. This push rod assembly is a moving functional part. There is a rod that slides in a sleeve. You can't compress it with your fingers because the spring is too strong. The assembly compresses to dampen the shock on the master cylinder. The OD of my original that fits in the master cylinder is 7/16", and the replacement is 7/16" as well. The original internal rod had completely rusted through. This part is not easily visible due to the surge unit cover. I am going to add lubricating the rod and sleeve under the spring as part of regular maintenance. I believe the Titan/Dico surge unit style has changed from 20 years ago, but luckily etrailer had this part in stock and shipped immediately. I received an email that detailed step by step processing with shipment tracking.

This push rod assembly works perfectly on my boat trailer! No issues and it was made well in my opinion.

After a year still working perfectly!

by:

There was a loud clunk and you could feel it when using the surge brakes on our ski boat trailer. The master cylinder was badly pitted. Now the braking is smooth and responsive.

Fair price and quick delivery

  • Replacement Master Cylinder for a Titan Aero 6000 Drum Brake Actuator
It does not come with instructions but it is pretty easy to replace. For your Titan Aero 6000 the correct replacement master cylinder is item # T4395100. This is the replacement master cylinder that works with drum brakes. I was able to find an exploded diagram of the Titan Aero 6000 actuator that I have attached below. Here are some other replacement parts we offer: Master Cylinder Filler Cap item # T4480701 Push Rod Assembly item # T2346300

  • Replacement Master Cylinder for Titan Aero 7500 Brake Actuating Coupler for Disc Brakes
The Replacement Master Cylinder Assembly for Titan Model 60 Brake Actuators - Disc # T4820000 is not the replacement you are seeking. Instead you will want the Replacement Master Cylinder for Titan Aero 7500 Brake Actuators - Disc # T4714200042 along with the Replacement Cover Gasket for Titan Aero 7500 Master Cylinders # DX37FR. You can reuse the old push rod or you can use the Replacement Push Rod Assembly for Titan Model 60 Brake Actuator # T2346300 if desired.

  • Replacement Push Rod Assembly for Titan Aero 6000 With Sticking Push Rod
For your Titan Aero 6000 the push rod you will need is the Replacement Push Rod Assembly for Titan Model 60 Brake Actuator # T2346300. The Aero 6000 is the same as the Model 60 in the internal components. The sticking issue is likely a spring issue or guide assembly issue so you will want to replace it.

  • Replacement Shock and Push Rod for a Titan Model 60 Trailer Disc Brake Actuator
It does sound like the shock is not returning. We do carry the part you need. It is Titan Shock Absorber for Model 60 Brake Actuators, # T2336200. If the Titan coupler you have is for disc brake applications and it were used on drum brake applications, the psi level would be too high. Also the brake lines and fittings normally used for drum brakes would not be large enough for disc brake applications. The push rod could also be in need of replacement. It is part # T2346300. When performing...

  • Replacement Master Cylinder, Shock and Push Rod Assembly for Dico Model 60 Drum Brake Actuator
Definitely sorry to hear the actuator you got didn't work out, but at least you are able to get the replacement parts you need (I realize that's little consolation but better than having to chop off a welded actuator). You will need specific replacement parts as opposed to using the parts from the Demco actuator you have as actuators don't have universally fitting parts. You were right on with the part numbers you need for your Dico Model 60 actuator: - Replacement Master Cylinder Assembly...

  • Replacement Master Cylinder and Push Rod for Titan Model 60 Brake Actuators
The replacement master cylinder kit for the Titan model 60 drum brake actuator is # T4395100. It comes with a new gasket, lid, cap, mounting hardware and fitting. I have linked a video review for you. The push rod, which is the part that pushes the fluid through, is not included. If you also need the push rod then you will need # T2346300.

  • Right Side Hydraulic Trailer Brake Locks Up After Braking
You may be getting air in the lines or have a wheel cylinder that needs to be replaced. It is also possible that you have the wrong side brake assembly on that right side but since it is only an issue after braking this is probably not the case. There could be something in the brake assembly itself that is getting stuck. I recommend pulling the wheel and drum off to inspect the operation of the brakes, check for any foreign objects that might be causing the malfunction. If the wheel cylinder...
