Question:
On my Titan model 60 surge brake, there is a shock absorber part number 2336200. My shock is no good. What happens if I use the trailer, with no shock? Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Replacement Shock Absorber for Titan Model 60 Brake Actuators # T2336200 for your Titan Model 60 Surge Brake Actuator ensures smooth operation of the brakes when you apply the brakes of your tow vehicle by easing the trailer forward.
Without a shock the actuator would apply the brakes very sporadically and cause a less than pleasant towing experience.
