Replacement Shock and Push Rod for a Titan Model 60 Trailer Disc Brake Actuator

Question:

my shock DAMPER on TITAN #60 MODEL does not and cannot move in and out by hand seems to be frozen i have gone thrue 2 sets of brake lining due to heat my thougth is acuator not returning to home due to damper not operating proparly where or can i purchase #2336200damper if you agree with me

It does sound like the shock is not returning. We do carry the part you need. It is Titan Shock Absorber for Model 60 Brake Actuators, # T2336200. If the Titan coupler you have is for disc brake applications and it were used on drum brake applications, the psi level would be too high. Also the brake lines and fittings normally used for drum brakes would not be large enough for disc brake applications.

The push rod could also be in need of replacement. It is part # T2346300. When performing maintenance or replacing parts on your actuator, always make sure to properly bleed the brakes. I have included a link to some instructions that explain the proper procedure for bleeding trailer brakes.
