After a long drive to the campground, the last thing you feel like doing is maneuvering your RV into a tight campsite space - especially in the dark! This wireless backup camera system plugs into your RV's pre-wired Voyager WiSight technology plate to give you peace of mind that you'll be able to back up more safely, even at nighttime or in other low-light conditions.

Enjoy Uninterrupted Wireless Signals

The WiSight 2.0 technology digitally locks the camera and monitor together, transmitting strong, interference-free signals up to 60'. This means that you'll have sharp, real-time video footage whether you're on the road or at the campsite, and you are less likely to have interference from smartphones, routers, and other devices.

Easily Communicate from Outside Your RV

Tired of yelling back and forth to your partner out the window as you're struggling to back in at a good angle? The built-in microphone on the camera and integrated speakers on the monitor allow a spotter to relay information or instructions to you from outside your vehicle. This makes it much easier and safer for you to back up in a crowded campground.

Avoid Collisions While Backing Up

No more wondering if you're getting too close to another vehicle, tree, curb, or your kid's bike while backing up. The rear assist marker lines take out the guesswork to avoid collisions and safely maneuver your RV. The lines are displayed in 3 different colors (green, yellow, and red) to help gauge the proximity of objects within your view.

And depending on your camera setup, this system allows you to add up to 4 cameras (additional wireless cameras sold separately) and view 1, 2, or all 4 angles simultaneously. This is great for when you're backing up at the campground or changing lanes on the highway, as it'll let you keep an eye on everything going on around your RV without needing assistance from others.

Voyager RV Backup Camera Infrared LEDs

And because this camera has 14 infrared LEDs, you'll have a clear picture even in low-light conditions at dusk or in complete darkness at night. These LEDs provide ample illumination up to 30' should you arrive at the campsite after dark and need to back up into your parking spot.

Withstand Multiple Climates and Environments

If there's a torrential downpour, or if you just simply need to wash your RV, the waterproof, IP69-rated camera will be protected against close-range, high-pressure spray downs. And if you're driving through rough country roads, the camera will resist dust and dirt from building up or getting inside.

Installs Onto Your Dashboard and RV Rear

Voyager RV Backup Camera Monitor Mount

This camera system includes 2 different mounting options for the monitor, depending on how you want to display it on your RV's dashboard. If you want to be able to re-position the monitor later on, stick the camera onto the dashboard with the included suction cup. Or, if you want a more permanent mounting solution, drill one of the Voyager pedestal mounts (VOSHD4MNT, VOSHD6MNT - sold separately) into the dashboard. To power the monitor, simply plug it into a 12-volt light or cigarette lighter outlet.

 Voyager RV Backup Camera Installation

This wireless camera is designed for RVs that have a factory-installed, Voyager WiSight pre-wired plate, which makes installation incredibly easy. All you'll need to do is plug the camera directly into the socket on the pre-wired plate - drilling isn't required. Then bolt it down with your OEM screws.

Exactly what I was looking for and it’s a great purchase.

Same as before, it’s a great camera.

by:

This system is perfect. I have a high-end trailer (ATC) that is prewired for this system so install was a snap and it looks as if the camera was installed at the factory. U know what I mean, no ugly bracket that looks bolted on. The monitor is 7 inches which is huge, and my tow vehicle is a 2021 Ram. On the dash there is a pocket with a cig. lighter plug and this monitor fits in perfectly. With the power plug inside this pocket there is no mess or wires hanging out, great job ASA, it looks like it was made for my truck. The only down side I see is that the running lights must be on to power the camera. Because the monitor can have 4 split screens, I can see adding additional camera's and using the monitor inside the Toyhauler when I parked with just a little electrical modification to run off the coach batteries. This way I can have a security camera system running when I am camping.

by:

My RV came prewired for this system. I had my RV for two years before I got this camera. It’s not just a backup camera … it’s a rear view camera! I feel so much safer on the road being able to see behind me. My only suggestion would be a protective sleeve for screen when not in use and storage pouch for mount and wiring.

by:

The Voyager was easy to install and provides a decent camera image. The 7- inch display is substantial in size and the suction cup mount leaves you with only the windshield as a mounting point. In my case, with a 2024 Toyota Tundra, the display blocks the view out the windshield no matter where I place the suction cup mount. It would be far better to provide a standard size 'ball and socket' that could attach to other mounting options such as a weighted bag mount. As it is, the Voyager ball and socket is a large, non-standard mount that excludes using other mounts. They should take a look at Garmin, who has standardized mounts. If this unit offered a better mount so that I could place it in the tray on top of the dashboard, or elsewhere, I'd give five stars. Anyway, I'll keep it and cook up my own mount adapter.

by:

As has always been the case from etrailer my order was received quickly. I needed to wait for a warmer day to install as a replacement to a earlier generation Voyager Wisight system that was previously installed. The install was very straight forward and basically plug and play. Love the new larger screen and better imaging vs the older system when it was operational. Thank you etrailer for your excellent service once again !!!!

by:

Installation was extremely easy since our 2022 Winnebago 2108TB FLX came prewired for the camera. We tow the trailer with a 2022 Chevy Silverado with the High Country package and the monitor sits nicely in the truck. We've not had any problems, to include reception issues, with the camera system. Hopefully an HD version will come out, but for now I'm quite pleased.

by:

Without etrailer.com explaining that a pwm adapter was needed for this camera, I would have been very disappointed. GMC decided to change their lighting in 2021 models making the adapter necessary. It was an added expense (not Voyager's fault but they solved the problem) and that's unfortunate. However, the camera and adapter installed easily and paired with the monitor with the running lights turned on. The quality of the display was good and I was able to clearly hear my wifes directions through the built in microphone. I would recommend this to anyone with a Winnebago pre-wired for a Voyager. Also, Ashley at etrailer.com was able to hold my original order and add the adapter so they would arrive together. Excellent customer service.

by:

Product was easy to install since it came with all the required hardware and wiring adapters. The wireless signal works very well with no interference or dropped connection over more than 30 hours of driving this season. Also the audio is a great feature to have when you use a spotter for backing up. I would highly recommend this product.

by:

System really works for us. The screen came paired with the camera. Camera was super easy to install. The larger screen makes a HUGE difference, the 5" screen was ok, but the 7" really makes it a lot easier to see what's coming up behind me when on the road... really helps!! spend the little bit extra to go 7" over 5"!!
For prospective buyers... make sure you know what connection is on the back of your trailer if it has a built in connection... the salesman told us it was a different brand... oops. Fortunately etrailer gave me full credit for the return on that and sent out this camera and screen... once again, etrailer showing their high level of customer service.

by:

Good product, arrived in good condition. My RV had a mounting plate for a different camera, which I knew in advance. So I made a small adapter plate removed the pre-wired plug and wired in the Voyager. Works great, wifi connection strong from the back of my Micro Minnie. I keep it on while driving to see cars in the blind spot. Also great help in backing in. Although I still need practice

by:

The picture is decent but I’ve had issues with the suction holding and will randomly fall off the window even when using moisture on the suction. Additionally I have problems maintaining signal. I have this on a 23’ trailer so that’s highly disappointing. I had a Furrion on my prior trailer and it was fantastic. Unfortunately this trailer came preset for the voyager. I rated lower as these 2 issues significantly inhibit its core function.

by:

Works great! Gives a nice wide angle view and the quality of the screen is top notch. Installation was easy.

by:

Installation was a snap, works as it should. Installed on 2022 Coachmen Freedom Express 274RKS.

@Mike Glad you like it! Hows it handle night vision?

by:

Wireless backup camera would not pair with control unit. I verified I had power at the prewired camera mount on my RV and even moved the control unit to within 10 ft of the wireless camera. Also did the usual make sure the antennas were connected to both units. Wireless camera appears to be well made and overall control unit looks good, but uses a rather fragile power connector.

We have had others who have also mentioned that they were not able to pair the monitor to the control unit. Please see the link below to an Ask the Expert question that covers steps to make sure that the monitor is being paired correctly. If you follow these same guidelines and are unable to pair it, please contact us back.

Attached like it should and was easy to install.

by:

Great service with quick delivery. I will buy again from etrailer.

Loses connection.

1990's video quality.

The
screen mount when you are driving vibrates down so you can't see the screen after ~20 seconds of driving.

Ugh, it is always annoying when newer technology has poor quality. Lets see, the system can lose signal due to interference inside or outside of the vehicle. I have a photo attached with the notice of information on signal interference. Do you have WiFi in the vehicle, and how far is the camera from the monitor? For the vibrating, I suggest tightening the part of the mount [highlighted in photo] or moving the monitor around to find a different spot on the windshield where the mount will be more stable. Another option I have heard works for some neighbors, is that you can also try cleaning the windshield and suction cup and then placing the mount and letting it sit overnight to see if it makes a tighter seal on the glass. Try this out and let me know if it helps or not. I would be very happy to further assist you if this troubleshooting does not work out.

I purchased this camera for my 2022 Winnebago Micro Mini. I should say this is the second camera a bought, My Micro Mini was prewired for a camera and had a connector to plug in and I had incorrectly purchased the wrong the camera that had to be hardwired. A simple call to etrailer and they sent me a new camera and provided shipping label to send back unit I mistakenly ordered. I got the new camera, mounted it and plugged right in, installation took less than 10 minutes. Only issue I had was the truck lights have to be on for the camera to work, which turns out I like because I know my light should be working if my camera is on.

Camera works great for seeing cars behind you or when passing cars. Did discover that monitor/screen is obnoxious when mounted on dash and the motion on the screen when driving, I had to move the monitor/screen down on the council and only look at it when I'm passing cars and such, don't need all the time. Overall I give this 10 out of 10 rating.

Use the camera all the time traveling. One nice thing is the camera is powered from the lights so you always know your lights are on to make camera work. I would recommend this camera. I have only great things to say about the product and etrailer support

by:

THe camera was easy to install, pair and use. However, we got very inconsistent results while traveling. The camera would routinely disconnect from the receiver, search for a connection, reconnect, then disconnect once again. Having a rear camera on which you cannot depend is worse than having no camera at all.

What kind of truck do you have, Warren? I am thinking this issue might be PWM related, and if your truck is 2019 or newer, then I have two parts to recommend. Part # VGR74VR is a hardwire option, and part # VGR64VR plugs in to the back of the camera with the CEC connection. Let me know!

by:

Once installed and set up, product is excellent. Updating from an older model was a bit of work. The standard connector is not the same on older models,.so expect to splice the pigtail. Pairing and set up is easy as well described in the instructions.

by:

I ordered this for my Minnie Winnie dur to the plug and play option I had. We had an issue getting the cam and monitor to pair following insturctios as stated.. We were sent a replacement, but had same issue. We decided to test both devices by connecting the cam to a battery, and it paired perfectly. We discovered that the camera was always on, even when unplugged from truck. Once pairing was successful, installed camera back onto the rv and it's great. I bought a 12v adapter to plug inside the rv so that we can monitor at the back if we would like to.

I’m giving 5 stars for now. I have dealt with etrailer numerous times before. I got great customer service then and I did when inquiring about this backup camera w/microphone. It won’t be until the middle of March until I use I mount the camera and use it on the highway. So stay tuned. I’ll give an update after I actually use it.

I have a 38’ toy hauler trailer. I won’t travel without it. I travel to FL every year from PA. It works great for the most part but it has times where it freezes up or loses contact with the antenna for a few seconds. Mostly near big cities where there must be a lot of interference. I have my monitor lower on my dashboard. It would probably work better if I could mount it higher it would probably get better results. The monitor is kinda big so that is why I don’t mount it on top of the dash board. I have had contact a few times with the techs at etrailer and gotten great help and advice on different occasions.

by:

Using AI, I searched for the most recommended backup camera systems. Since my camper already had a Voyager WiSight prep mount installed, the decision became fairly obvious.

Although the price was higher than I originally wanted to spend, the installation was incredibly easy. It was truly plug-and-play, and I had it up and running the same day it arrived. No exaggeration—it took me longer to get out my ladder and tools than it did to install the camera and figure out the monitor.

I had a backup camera on my previous camper, so I knew what features mattered to me. One feature that really helped me make my decision was the speaker built into the rear camera. My wife can speak in a normal voice while guiding me when backing up, and I can hear her clearly inside the truck. The microphone picks up sound surprisingly well.

I found etrailer had the lowest price available. Having purchased from them before, I was confident in both the product and their customer support.

One opportunity for improvement: not many people think about this ahead of time, but a recommendation for a soft carrying case would have been helpful. After some online searching to find the correct size, I have one on the way.

by:

easy hook up, just wish it did a split screen since my camera is high up I cannot see to far back for cars following me, but great for backing up and wide view.

by:

This is an overpriced piece of junk. Do not purchase if you expect it to provide any good info. The picture is like using one of those mirrors that says "objects may be closer than they appear" terrible. Bad lag for vehicles coming behind you or when passing to know if you can move back over. Display has bo internal battery so you cant use it unplugged. Camera only works when headlights are on ie running lights on your camper. Not a problem when I'm driving because I always run with headlights on but... how do i do that when the camper is off the truck and lights are off. Oh yoy cant lol. So you cant take the display out and use it for security. If you are using this to be able to hitch your trailer you have 3 Allen screws to adjust to tilt it down so you can see your hitch. Then you have to readjust so you can see what's behind you. But you cant take the display out from your truck when you are adjusting to see where it is set you have to walk back and forth to the truck to verify the adjustment Overall this is overpriced for what you get and terrible. I only purchased because my truck camper was pre wired for this setup. Should have done more research and bought a better unit. I have purchased many things from etrailer.com but this is the most disappointing purchase I've ever made. They advertise this as being able to take the display into the camper and use for security you CANNOT do that. DO NOT BUY

Hi Andrew; I'm sorry to say that the WVM541AP is obsolete and the replacement monitor is no longer available. The only option is to replace the entire system with a new one like the Voyager WiSight 2.0 Wireless Backup Camera # ASA37YR. Everything has switched to the 2.0 which is not backwards compatible with what you have now.

  • Is The 2022 Winnebago Micro Minnie 1700BH Prepped For a Voyager WiSight 1.0 or 2.0?
You are going to be able to use either the original Voyager WiSight or the WiSight 2.0 with the Voyager Prep on your 2022 Winnebago Micro Minnie 1700BH.
