Video Transcript for Titan Trailer Brakes K71-773-01 Review

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Replacement Universal Caliper for Titan 10" Brakes. Now, this unit replaces the caliper on your Titan 10" driver's side brake. The passenger side caliper is sold separately, and available at etrailer.com.The unit is made from a durable construction. We're looking at a nice durable steel, and it features a rust and corrosion resistant design, so it's going to last a long time. You don't have to worry about rust or corrosion build-up on this unit. You can see here that the pads are included, and they're already installed, ready to go. Mounting hardware is also included.

We have our brake caliper body. Again, like I said, pads are included and installed. This port right here, this is your bleeder screw, and then this right here is the brake line inlet port. That's going to do it for today's look at the Replacement Universal Caliper for Titan 10" Brakes. Again, this one is designed for the driver's side.

OEM. Perfect fit and came with new pads and all hardware

Easy purchase and fast delivery!

Only surprise was the Titan 225s calipers these Dexters replaced were mounted to a bracket. Had to pull the hub to slide the bracket off the axel. Not a problem, just wasn’t aware of the need for that step. Beyond that the order was shipped promptly and arrived on time. Excellent service as always.

  • Replacing Knott Brand Brake Calipers And Rotors On A Coyote Boat Trailer With 3,500 lb Axles
We do have some options for replacing the Knott calipers and rotors on your Coyote Boat Trailer. We really do not have any info or specs on the Knott brand brakes, but since it is all for a 3,500 lb axle the sizing should be standard. Standard meaning the axle uses the standard 4-bolt brake flange (holes 2-7/8" apart on center), and the hub uses the # L68149 (1.378" inner diameter) inner bearing, and the # L44649 (1.063" inner diameter) outer bearing. • Correct Replacement for Ttian 225S Disc Brake Calipers
Correct, the Replacement Universal Caliper part # K71-773-01 for driver side and part # K71-773-02 for passenger side have a 2-7/8" spacing between the two caliper mounting bracket bolts therefore will attach directly to the brake mounting flange on the axle so the flange you have now with 5" bolt centers will be discarded.
