This was a replacement for Kodiak calipers that were damaged from Over heating. I cannot say enough good things for disc brakes on my fifth wheel. I will NEVER have another RV without disc brakes.
Product was exactly what I ordered.
The anti corrosive coating made some of the pads not fit properly.
This required some light filing to the brake pads, other than that, it was perfect.

Works as it should, I'm a little disappointed that the finish begins to rust fairly quickly, I thought they had a salt spray test of quite a few hours. The real issue is the rubbery isolators that the caliper rides on get loose and the caliper rattles on the slide bolts, this has happened with all the calipers I've purchased from Kodiak, perhaps something in bronze or a harder durometer urethane would hold up better. I was thinking about having some bronze bushings machined to try out that material
Just what I needed for my boat trailer. Not sure why but the rubber seal failed and cracked on one of my calipers after about three years and the salt water froze it up. This seemed a reasonable price and quick shipping for a replacement. I should have noticed but didn't that a set of shoes actually comes with it, so for me that was a bonus.
This was my second purchase in three days from etrailer.com. I am the parts manager at a boat sales and service center and we needed quick service.
