It’s a must have when installing all new equipment. If it came with better mounting hardware it would be a solid 5 stars. I used my own so not a huge deal but if I didn’t have it I would’ve had to make a special trip to finish the installation. Works great though
The bracket did not come with screws to attach it to the trailer hitch. Other than that, it was easy to order, was received faster than projected, the price was good and the quality seems to be good.
Each item is performing as designed. No issues at all. As I recall, the installation from the ground was extremely easy.
Did what it was supposed to do but does not come with any hardware.This bracket should be included with the wiring kit but was not so had to order it separately and pay for shipping again on a measly little bracket.
Apparently if your car is wired for a trailer, you have the tow package. I asked the dealer if I could get a Trailblazer with a tow package and he said “No” which lead me to order the wrong wire harness.
Pretty simple install. I have dual exhaust on my Outback and found it easiest to remove both mufflers for installation. Curt only provides 2 of the guide wires for the bolts. I used one on each side and also a rubber band on each side to secure the bolts while positioning the hitch. This worked really well, try it yourself.
Perfect kit for my 2007 Tacoma. Perfect lenght wires. Electronic module stores away up high in the tail light so no salt water invasion. Self cutting ground screw mad a perfect ground right beside the module. Awesome!Easy. Hope it lasts! Seeems solid wiring and mechanical wise.
$7 plus shipping for a bracket that should be inluded with the hitch receiver to begin with, add to that the cost of finding out there's NO hardware to attach it and having to drive to a hardware store...

This is an exact fit replacement for the 4-flat wiring harness mounting bracket on an OEM Toyota trailer hitch for the 2019-2025 Toyota RAV4.
I wish it would have had a covering over the wires. Guessing over time any places the the harness rubs will end up wearing through to bare wires. Also, the bracket didn't come with screws that it showed when I ordered it. Being a product designer, I was able to figure something out. Overall satisfied though.
When plugging in the trailer lights to the tail that is supposed to be fixed in this mount, it pushes out unless I hold it backing it up with my hand
The 4 pole mounting brack was easy to install and made for professional looking install for the connector.
I ordered the hitch and wiring harness for my dad who lives 623 miles away. I sent him the link to the video, he viewed it with one of our cousins. They received the parts at 12:40pm and I just got off the phone with him and it was already installed at 3:00pm he was very happy with the speediness of receiving the part and the helpfulness of the video. It's a nice bracket that cleans up the wiring installation, but as already state in the reviews it does not come with mounting hardware so I had to use a tap and die set to property mount it to the hitch. Because of the previous reviews I was prepared.
After it was not included with the original order, I call etrailer to mention this and the wiring harness were not packed even though the pkg clearly states it was. Since the connector was not sent originally I told them to just send the wiring harness and I no longer wanted the mounting bracket. Supposedly the wiring harness has been shipped however I was never refunded for the cost of the connector. Very disappointed
It's a bracket so not much to go wrong. Would have been nice if the kit included some stainless mounting hardware.
Love it. Makes the job look professional, no wire hanging down or attached to the hitch.

Great!
Well made but did not fit without interfering with the bumper on my 2023 Highlander XLE. However, I did reconfigure it with the Short Curt No Drill Trailer Connector and mount it vertically and this seems to work just fine.
Looks great, easy install direct to hitch cross piece.

Trying to plug in my trailer harness (brand new) or my tow dolly lights is extremely frustrating because the plug for my Curtis trailer harness for my 2018 Pacifica is slightly Mia made. Pretty disappointed as the harness was $[XX].
Installed the hitch and wiring on my 2025 Maverick XL eco boost. Was easy enough using Etrailers instructional video. I would def recommend if you bought your Mac without the hitch..use this one!
