Question:

Have a 2019 Hyundai Ioniq Plug-in Hybride. Looking for trailer harness wiring kit. To be used with tail lights mounted in a Thule bike rack. Was also wondering if you sell taillights ??

I recommend picking up the Tekonsha T-One # 118758 for your 2019 Hyundai Ioniq Plug-In Hybrid and securing it by your hitch receiver with the mounting brackets # C42CR and # 18140 so the 4-Way is easily accessible.

If you have the Thule Epos bike rack then you're needing the License Plate and Tail Light Kit # TH79XE, otherwise I recommend going with the Curt Auxiliary LED Indicator Lights # C53201 since they come with an adhesive that makes them quite easy to install.

If you don't already have a trailer hitch for your Ioniq then I recommend the Curt Class I # C11486 because it has the reinforced collar that not only looks better, but it also provides a place for you to secure an anti-rattle device is that's ever needed for other accessories in the future.

Hi Jon, I have a '22 Ioniq PHEV and I want to know if the Curt 11486 will work on my car. I keep reading that this hitch is not suggested for this car but I have also read that the 11486 and the DrawTite 24963 do indeed work. In the response to Blair's question about wiring kits you suggested the Curt hitch also. Can you confirm the Curt hitch will fit my car? I know there is a part on the frame I will need to notch out on the hitch to fit. Thanks

@SamA We have a review saying that they got the Curt Trailer Hitch # C11486 to fit their 2022 Ioniq PHEV so it looks like you'll be able to get it to fit, although the official word from Curt is that it won't fit. Normally when manufacturers say this it's because there are some heavy modifications that need to be done - I recommend having a shop help you look at the fabrication process to make sure everything will work safely.
