The raised side rails provide solid edge support that keeps lumber, ladders, and other gear from sliding off. A steel screen protects your rear window from shifting cargo. It bolts securely between the uprights and doesn’t block visibility or your third brake light. The honeycomb pattern looks clean and adds a bit of style while doing an important job—keeping your cab safe from dents or broken glass.
CNC-machined 15-gauge carbon steel gives this rack its strength without excessive weight. The black wrinkle-finish powder coat and e-coat resist rust and UV damage, so the rack holds up season after season. Previously returned parts arrived in a box that had been completely opened at one point and retaped poorly. The UPS driver was handing us loose parts from the floor of his truck. Have to go through an entire return process....
I have built the rack but not installed it yet. the package was ripped to shreds. the window gaurd came separately and was bent severely. A couple other parts were bent. The shipping was definitely to blame but maybe the boxes could be better reinforced. I am surprised all parts were present. I'll update once the product is installed.
I choose to give zero stars due to the lengthy process it took to get us a completed (damaged but complete) ladder rack. I ordered on May 27th 2022, received it on June 13th I believe. Box was in poor shape and upon opening it there was no hardware at all. Contacted the company they said they would send out a whole new one. UPS called said the 2nd one was is worse condition than the first one, so we told them not to deliver it. 3rd time it came the box was (well look at the pictures) no hardware again, no plates. my suggestion would be to put these on a pallet and ship freight instead of standard UPS.
The rack itself is good, I ordered it because my friend has the same one. Good luck getting it though. Shipping was repeatedly delayed, and once it finally arrived, it had apparently been driven over by a tank during shipping. 2 of the rails were literally cut in half (possibly by a forklift tine?). It was a huge hassle getting them to send a new one, and the replacement arrived in equally unusable condition, and missing parts as well. I had to threaten to issue a credit card chargeback to get a refund, as the delivery driver had apparently forged my signature to sign off on the damaged product and the company kept refusing to give my money back. I ended up buying some metal from a steelyard and making my own lumber rack; which was faster and easier than trying to get a whole one from etrailer.
The box was beat all to pucky and the product was scratched and scuffed. I need this for work so I put it together and put it to work but it was incredibly poor form that etrailer even let that package leave the warehouse. I'm appalled and will think twice about ordering from here in the future. The product itself seems stout and worth it but it is damaged goods and deserves to be discounted.

Well designed item. Easy to read instructions. Seems to be of good quality,but just now installed and time will tell.
Good, solid product. Packaging was completely torn apart and most components were heavily scratched upon receiving them. Install went well. Window guard is very flimsy and vibrates the entire truck while driving over 35 mph.
Great product. just need better instructions. good & sturdy will purchase again 100 %. Great service as well.

Looks really good! This ladder rack seems very universal too, like it might fit about anything (maybe even a Prius). I was skeptical about how sturdy it would be as I was buying this for a professional work truck and man is it solid as a rock. It makes very little wind noise. The whole shop is jealous of my rack lol.
over all the ladder rack is great easy to put together the issue I have is the window guard it is flimsy and the bolt holes are drilled to big for the washers given, on instillation the bolt and washer will pop out of the hole unless it is lined up just right were the very edge of the washer will hold the drilled hole
box came pretty beat up but no damage to parts inside. hardware came in different box so noting got lost.it was easy to put together and looks great! pay close attention if you have a long box or short box because it changes configuration order of assembly. etrailer was awesome from ease of ordering , tracking, and follow up. over all..... great experience

Easy to install. after one-year it is just as good as day one. Carries our ladder, 20' walk-boards, and pump jacks. We were happy on day one and still happy after 365 days. When we buy our next truck, we will buy the same rack. We just need to raise the money for the truck.

Gah! That box is destroyed! Let me get you over to our customer service department for them to help you get the missing pieces. I can assure you that we do not sell any returned or used items. However, we do have a demonstration team that takes our product and does a temporary installation in order to get videos and pictures of the item in use. It is our policy to make sure that the item is still in good or new condition before it gets put back on the shelf for sale.
