Question:

Hi- I am looking for a hitch for my 2025 Subaru Crosstrek Premium. There are two Curt hitches listed- C22MJ and C54GJ. Curt recommends the C22MJ - which of your two part numbers matches that one? Thanks

Welcome back David! The Curt Hitch item # C22MJ is the correct one for your 2025 Subaru Crosstrek Premium. We use different part numbers for inventory purposes. The Curt Hitch item # C54GJ you referenced is designed for the 2025 Crosstrek Wilderness models only.

The Curt Hitch item # C22MJ is a custom fit class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It's designed to fit all models of the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek except the Wilderness ones so it will fit perfectly on your Crosstrek Premium. This hitch comes with all the hardware necessary to complete the installation.

I attached a few pictures below so you can see what the hitch looks like installed and linked an installation video we made so you can see how to get it set up.

I used the C22MJ on my 2026 Crosstrek. It was an easy install and is almost completely hidden under the rear bumper. I used a Subaru factory wiring harness. I have used Curt hitches before and have had very good luck with them.

Dave- I installed the C22MJ on our 2026 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid Limited- fit great - it was my 2nd Subaru install with an etrailer hitch so the install was even easier the 2nd time. Both have held up great even in our area with heavy Northeast road salt and sand.
