Question:
Wil this work with the spindle of a M1101/2 trailer and this hub and drum assembly Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 5,200-lb Axles - 6 on 5-1/2 Part Number: 8-201-5? I want to run the same tire and rim as my Land Cruiser.

Hey Bill. So long as your M1101/2 trailer uses a inner bearing item # 25580 and outer bearing item # LM67048, the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly item # 8-201-5 will indeed work.
We get these questions infrequently and some of those old military trailers use different spindles or people have added different ones. I recommend pulling one of your hubs and checking for part numbers stamped into the sides of the bearings.
The Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly item # 8-201-5 has a 6 on 5-1/2 lug nut pattern, which matches up well with Toyota/Lexus wheels. It is sold individually.
To add a set of brake assemblies, I recommend the etrailer Electric Trailer Brakes - Self-Adjusting item # AKEBRK-7-SA.

I decided that it was more cost effective to run the original rims and tires with the hubs it has. I don't want to lose the hydraulic brakes either. Won't have to install a brake controller in my Land Cruiser. Thanks
