Today, we're going to take a look at the 12-inch pre-greased trailer hub and drum assembly with the six on five-and-a-half inch bolt pattern for the 5,200-pound and 6,000 pound EZ Lube axles. Now this trailer hub and drum assembly provides the surface area for your brake shoes to grip when your brakes are activated. This is compatible with the electric and the hydraulic drum brakes.It includes the EZ Lube compatible grease cap right here, makes lubricating your bearings fast and easy. So when you install it, it has the rubber center cap that you can pop out or the plug, and that allows you with the cap still installed and the hubs also installed, you can access that grease zerk fitting that's on the end of the EZ Lube spindle.Now this is a sturdy iron construction, uses a zinc-enriched paint on the drum to add durability, has a zinc finish on the bolts to resist corrosion. And the nice thing about these hubs and drums, they are pre-greased. The pre-greased hub and drum assembly is very easy to install.

There's no need to pack any bearings with the grease. And also the grease seal in the back, you can see, is pre-installed. If I pop off protective cover, you can see your grease seals installed with the bearing ready to go.
