Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this trailer hub and drum assembly. Now this is a fully assembled trailer brake drum and hub that's designed for 5,200 pound and 6,000 pound axles. This is going to fit the number 42 spindles and this is going to work with axles from major manufacturers like Dexter, Lippert, and Alco, so no oddball parts to track down with this. This is built to work with 12 inch by two inch drum brake assemblies, whether you're running electric or hydraulic, and each hub is going to support up to 3000 pounds, which lines up perfectly for a pair on a 6,000 pound axle.
Now this drum itself measures just under 13 inches in diameter and a little over two and three eighths inches wide. So this is gonna be exactly what you want for a standard 12-inch brake setup. One of the nicest parts is that this comes ready to install just as you see it here. The bearings are already greased and it includes the races seal and grease cap and the lug nuts, which I've just kind of loosely put on there so you're not piecing things together or making extra trips for small parts. So on your screen, I'm including the bearing numbers, the race numbers, and the grease seal.
Again, everything that you see there on the screen is included and it's all pre-greased. Now on the wheel side, this does use a six on five and a half inch bolt pattern with half inch wheel bolts making this compatible with most 14 and a half to 16 and a half inch trailer wheels. If you need help measuring your bolt pattern, we do have steps that you can follow on this product page. Durability-wise, this is built to last. This drum is coated with a zinc-enriched paint and the bolts have a zinc finish, both of which are going to help resist rust and corrosion.
So that's especially helpful if the trailer sees wet conditions or road salt. But this is gonna be a solid, ready-to-go hub and drum assembly that's gonna fit common axles, work with standard 12 inch breaks and it's gonna help save time by including everything that you need for installation. If you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this or anything that we have here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out. We wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name is Andy.
Thank you for joining me.
