Thoroughly Tested for Safety

This hub-and-drum assembly meets the requirements for certification by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). The CSA creates standards, which when complied with ensure a safe and quality product. This assembly underwent extensive testing to measure stopping distances when braking. This assembly has also been tested by QAI for braking performance in a complete automotive setup and under real-world conditions to provide the most realistic scenario for the everyday driver.

E-Z Lube and Easy Grease-Compatible Assembly for Simple Lubrication

The grease cap on this hub-and-drum assembly is specially designed to work with your Dexter E-Z Lube or etrailer Easy Grease axle to make lubricating bearings quick and easy. Just remove the plug on the grease cap, attach a grease gun to the zerk fitting on the end of the spindle, and inject the grease. It will flow easily to both inner and outer bearings. Not only does this make lubricating the bearings easy, but it also helps to prevent corrosion of the hub. This is because you can lubricate the bearings without the mess of taking apart the entire assembly.

Determining the Bolt Pattern

The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.

Bolt Pattern - Even

On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: 8 on 6-1/2 means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)

Bolt Pattern - Odd

To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: 5 on 4-1/2 means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)

Bolt Pattern - Side

Measuring the distance (D) from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

  • If D = 2-5/8", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2"
  • If D = 2-3/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4"
  • If D = 3", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5"
  • If D = 3-1/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2"

  • Parts to Convert 5-Spoke Utility Hub to Modern Style Hub on 10K Trailer
Thank you for reaching out! It looks like your Dexter Axle uses the 5 Spoke Utility Hub and Drum Assembly # 8-174-5UC3 so to replace that and your brakes you need the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K as well as the 12" Self-Adjusting Electric Brakes # TRU96FR. These will be exact fits for your system but the hub and drum kit comes with a slightly larger grease seal so you need the Replacement Grease Seal Set # RG06-090 for each axle on your trailer. • Can a Hub with Outer Bearing 15123 and LM67048 Both Fit Same Spindle
The inner diameters of the LM67048 and 15123 both are the same (1.250 inches). That means that a hub with either bearing in the outer bearing would fit your spindle. The part # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K would fit your axle.

From there you will need to mock up your trailer to determine what size you need of the following items: 4 - Double-eye springs 2 - Front hangers 2 - Center hangers 2 - Rear hangers 2 - Equalizers 8 - Shackle straps 14 - Shackle bolts 4 - Spring seats (if needed) 4 - U-bolt sets (8 U-bolts) 4...

  • 5,200 Lb Timbren Axle-Less System With Compatible Hub, Drum and Electric Brakes
The Warner-style brake assemblies are no longer made and replacement parts are essentially non-existent at this point, so really your best option is going to be replacing your hub and drum as well as brake assemblies. You may also need to weld on a new brake mounting flange, which will be determined by the diameter of your axle. In order to find the correct replacement hubs for your trailer you need to know the weight rating of your axle, and also what bearings your current hub has. You...

  • Replacement Hub/Drums and Brake Assemblies for Trailer with 5,200 lb Axle
I need a little more info from you. Basically we know you have a 5,200 to 7,000 lb rated axle but the additional info we need is the bolt pattern that the wheels you have use as well as the diameter of the spindle where the seal rides. With that info we can determine what hub/drum you'd need.

  • Replacement Axle for 2018 Grand Design Imagine 2150RB
Grand Design lists an 86-1/2" 3,500 lb axle for your Imagine 2150RB. The next size up would be a 5,200 lb axle like the # e45GR. This has the same 86-1/2" hub face measurement but the spring seat is different. You will need to cut off the spring seats and weld on # TRSS300 to match your current 68-1/2" measurement. The CE Smith U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 5.2K to 7K, Round Trailer Axles # CE23003 will be required as well. For a hub and drum assembly you can use the # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K. These...

Thanks for getting in touch, Stanley. The part number AADULE359582 you provided indicates a 3,500 lb axle with a 95" hub face and 82" spring center. We offer a 5,200 lb replacement for this, the Trailer Axle Beam with Easy Grease Spindles - 95" Long - 5,200 lbs # e63GR. This axle has spring seats pre-welded at 80", so they will need to be removed and have new spring seats # TRSS300 welded on at 82". That said, I do have an option for you in the Timbren Axle-Less Suspension part # ASR5200S01 which has a 5,200 lb weight capacity and you don't need to worry about matching the spring center or hub face measurements of your existing axle. I'll start off by saying that wheels and tires do not come with hubs, and what hubs you'll be able to use depend on the spindles on the axles, and whether or not you'll want brakes on the trailer or not. If you're going to be using the Timbren # TASR35HDS07, you'll need hubs that have # 25580 inner bearing and # 15123 outer bearings, like the # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K for a hub and drum assembly or # AKIHUB-655-6-EZ-K for idler hubs. Next you will need hub drums but that will depend on the wheel bolt pattern you have. If it's a 6 lug setup you would want the # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K or if it's an 8 lug you'd need part # AKHD-865-7-G-EZ-K. These are sold individually.
