Attach this electrical bracket to your 2" trailer hitch to make mounting your trailer connectors (sold separately) fast and easy. Use with a 6-pole or 7-pole round connector and a 4-way or 5-way flat connector. No drilling required.Super easy to install. It's actually is more rigid/solid than I thought. Comes with all the hardware you'll need. Definitely a good compliment to a hitch that doesn't have a bracket welded on.
The part fit very well and seems sturdy enough. I used it last summer and it still seems to be holding up well.

After one year, the product still worked great. It was stable and held up to use.
This bracket works well, but being at the same elevation as the receiver
opening. No more hitting the welded on RV connector bracket and tearing
up the connector. I cut my old bracket off as you can still see part of
it on my hitch. Painted the exposed metal to prevent rust.
A couple of suggestions for those installing this bracket. First use an
adjustable wrench and bend the top and bottom edges inward so the
bracket fits tight on your receiver end. Doing this will keep the
strain on the Stainless Steel M8 bolts used as they are too small to
bend the bracket edge and will snap off. Second use the appropriate
size metric wrench or socket to turn the nut. The nuts have an insert
to keep them from working off while driving, so no lock washers are used.
Installing the RV 7-way connector is just like installing it in any
other bracket, just locate the appropriate holes for your connector and
insert the screws. If your 7-way connector is plastic do not over
tighten the nuts. Installing the 4 or 5-way connector is even easier to
install.

It has work great as expected. Did sell vehicle in March
Product is good basic design, remains to been seen how quickly bracket bends or distorts when plugging/ unplugging 7 way as thickness and strength is questionable.
It would have been a plus if product info informed buyers that some, including my Stowaway brand anti rattle hitch bracket cannot be used when using this c58000 wire holder. I have installed my anti rattle device upside down but not sure yet if going to work.

after a year of daily trailer towing I can report that my concerns of the lightweight metal used in build has been a issue with bending so far no splitting of metal just keep bending back, also mounting hardware light duty. would I buy this product again yes but would seek a more secure way of mounting
Nice black powder coat finish. Solid feel. Doesn't fit.
This Curt easy mount bracket doesn't fit my Curt class 3 trailer hitch #13355. Either the bracket is designed wrong or the chain hooks on the hitch are welded too close to the receiver collar. Can't install the screw and the bracket sticks out oddly at the bottom because of this.
One picture shows the gap of the bracket to the receiver collar and the screw unable to go through the hole, and the other picture has a closeup of the chain hook / bracket interface.
Easy installation on my 2023 Hyundai Palisade. Looks good and fits well with my OEM 7 pin wiring harness which I recently purchased from my local dealer's parts department and installed myself - "plug and play" with the existing connections on my Palisade Limited.
It's a perfect solution for securing your electrical connection and the added bonus is keeping it up high enough to avoid damage.
Rocks, curbs, parking stops...Bend and destroy your last electric brake car-side connector bracket. Finally there's a solution for those of us with plastic bumpers who don't have a lifted 4x4 or stock through-bumper socket. This bracket safely puts the vehicle side connector at the same height as the receiver itself!
I installed it on a 2002 Toyota Land Cruiser with factor hitch but this could work for my wife's Subaru so I'll probably get her one too. Anyone who needs to install a trailer wiring connector on low vehicles or on vehicles with rubber/plastic bumpers now can have a better solution.
After ruining 3 L-brackets and $30 connectors I was about to build my own but gladly Curt created a solution. Installation of just the bracket was less than 15 minutes. If you have an existing 2" tube-style hitch. Without measuring the installation was universal for 2" receiver hitches. The only issue might be if your receiver hitch and bracket is too close to the hitch crossmember but I believe the bracket was flexible enough to adjust.
In my opinion, the bracket could be 1/8" steel plate in case you accidentally back the trailer into it but time will tell if that becomes an issue. The bracket comes with fastening hardware which presumably is stainless with lock nuts but including thread lock compound might be a good option. I was able to snug up the bolts enough that the bracket no longer flexed. We're having some rainy weather that's preventing me from rewiring the new female socket connector that I also purchased.
On a side note, my original female socket had the 4-pin connector built into it. Instead this time, I ordered the Curt #57674 4-Way to 7-way RV Blade & 4-Way Flat socket. One important not is if you use this option, the Curt Bracket includes a mounting bracket that will separately hold the 4-pin plug. It may be a cleaner install to use the Hopkins integrated 4-way/7-way adapter instead of using Curt's side mount bracket for the bracket in this review.
Overall, this will buy me some time before I have to upgrade my Land Cruiser to steel bumpers. Essentially this $20 product saved me from having to lift the vehicle to deal with the ground clearance issue. Preserving the low center of gravity and street appearance was important. Even with that said, if you do lift your vehicle its just really nice to get this electrical work up out of harm's way.
All in all, kind of a no brainer easy replacement and because there's a gap in the mounting bracket for the female socket, you may not even have to rewire to upgrade. Just slide the wires of the old socket through the gap and reinstall the screws.
If I could give it 4.5 stars I would. Only less than 5 because the metal could be thicker. On the other hand, I could really tighten the screws at the receiver and bend the metal flush with the thicker collar and there is no wiggle. I had previously installed the Hopkins combo 4-flat with 7-round connector and it fit just fine as etrailer said it would. The only negative is Hopkins doesn't provide stainless steel screws for their connector. I also didn't install the harness according to the excellent video for my 2005 Sienna. Instead I ran all the wires inside the van by bringing them up through a grommetted hole already right where the connector belongs and then tucking them behind the trim panels all the way to the front. The door sill pieces come off easily to route wires under them.
This is a pretty elegant way to mount the 7-pin connector, especially compared to other options.
Fabulous bracket. Much more custom looking than the OEM bracket which has the 7pin plug hanging lower than the hitch receiver. Mine got bent and rusty backing into some snow. Pardon the oil spot on the driveway. I had to spray my hitch lock to get it to come loose.
( The product was Excellent and was made very well ) the problem was that it wouldn't fit my 2014 Toyota Tacoma pickup receiver. My receiver is a 2" and that is what it said to buy but it would not bolt on there is a flange around the outside of the receiver. The bracket fit around it just fine but the bolt holes were to closes in and the top and bottom flange on the bracket need to be longer and wider. I should have maybe tried the 2.5 I might have had better luck but I did what the information online told me to do.

The OEM hitches on the Toyota Tacomas has a thicker width than traditional 2 inch hitch receivers. The width of the receiver including the walls is about 2-3/4 inches. The 2-1/2 inch Curt bracket will not work with the Toyota Tacoma either. You can always use a traditional 7 way mounting bracket such as part # 18138 for a 7 way plug and part # 18144 for the 4 flat.
This bracket provides a convenient and easy way to mount a 7 way trailer connector without hacking up your vehicle. Easy to install and sturdy.

So glad I went with this option!! Looks great even after a year of usage.
Bent a little bit when I put on a anti-rattle device but other than that, it has worked as expected
Received the part I ordered,was exactly what I needed.Enclosed is a pic of it installed.Thanks !
Curt needs some help with this product, good concept, execution not so good. Stainless nyloc nuts on stainless hardware is a NO NO without using anti seize, either provide some in the package or at least mention the need in the installation instruction. The 4 screws provided to mount the connector should be hex head with a flange for safer, non-damaging install, slotted head screws for an application like this went away in the 1950s. Whenever I receive one of the items, the clam shell package is open with all of the pieces floating around in the secondary packaging, hopefully all of the pieces are still there and the bare bracket has not damaged other items in the package.
It's been 4 seasons. No rust or damage. It does bend & give a little when the plug is pushed in or pulled out. I only wish the bracket is a little bit more rigid and a little bit slimmer so that it looks more integrated and open up for a little more room around the receiver for pin locks and such. Otherwise, it does what it's supposed to do. My installation is on a 2014 Odyssey.
Thank you for the fast shipping. This makes it vary easy to install a 7 pin adapter plug. Going on a hitch of a 2013 Lincoln mkx

Working out great have 8x14 trailer with 7 pin bracket works great for plug
A great & sturdy solution for adding wiring to a truck that was not a tow package. I had a flimsy mount screwed into the bottom square tube on my Curt hitch on my F150-it hung to low & was always getting bent out of shape. The design accommodates lots of screw patterns for the 7-way female plug and it worked great for mine. This makes a slick add-on that is much nicer cosmetically than the low-slung mount I replaced. It is heavy gauge steel and feels much more like a factory install. If you bend this mount you've probably done other damage! Great solution that was a cinch to install. I highly recommend!
Etrailer.com shipped when they said & I got it when promised. Buy your Curt products from them! You can buy other brands from them as well but I'm partial to Curt.
Thank you for your assistance, great products, and instructional videos! On my 2010 VW Touareg I had to A) install the T-one wiring harness, then B) install the Brake Controller 7- and 4-Way Installation Kit (ETBC7) with a C) Curt Easy Mount Bracket for 4- or 5-Way Flat and 6- or 7-Way Trailer Connectors - 2" Hitch Item # C58000. Instead of drilling/cutting wires/etc. to get the T-one harness under the vehicle, I zip-tied the 4-pole connector from the ETBC7 to the hitch bracket, and when I need to tow a trailer, I simply drape the T-one 4-pole connector out the tailgate (as I would if I were pulling a 4-pole connected trailer) and connect the two harnesses. Simple install!
Very simple solution to mount your trailer connector. It is still working great. It has not loosened or in any way exhibited signs of weakening or failing. It does have one drawback of limiting the type of anti-rattle hitch attachment you can use, but that is easy to overcome by careful selection. Great product.
I liked this solution to mount on our Curt hitch. Works as advertised and have had no issues in the year it has been installed. Nice to have a no drill option and a mount for both 4 wire and 7 wire connectors.
I purchased a 2" Class 4 Curt receiver from a local auto parts store and was happy to see that Curt also produced this option as my FORD F-250 came with a factory round and 4-flat combo. It arrived and appeared to be exactly what I expected. I watched the installation video from etrailer.com and was all set to put it on when it arrived. BUT... It didn't install well! When I put the two long bolts in and started tightening, they stripped the metal that the bracket was made of which allowed the bolts to spin freely and NOT tighten! This left the entire bracket VERY loose, bent, and virtually unusable!!! I proceeded to take the bracket and the truck to a local metal fabricator who cut the 2" receiver portion bracket off and welded it directly onto the hitch frame. I still like the design however, the design appears to be flawed! I would give some serious thought before buying this product.
This thing has held up well over the last year. Vehicle is garaged, so it isn't out in the elements, but only the little hinge springs on the cover show signs of rust. No impact on functionality, however.
