Will the etbc7 kit i purchased fit the C58003 adapter, there is not a good and strong location for the etb7 bracket?

The Curt Easy Mount Bracket # C58003 would not work for you because it is for a 2-1/2" hitch. Instead, you would want to use Easy Mount Bracket # C58000. Another simple option would be the Curt No-Drill Bracket # C57202.
